Thanks for being part of my Juniper community. We are a two woman show. Everything i share with you is from the combination of two very different skill sets . I am so grateful I have by my side to help keep Juniper alive! I couldn’t do it without her. Big love!

Bobby was one of my teachers when I lived in NYC. I would take her class every Monday for years and years. Then I would go and teach my women’s class right after. I always felt so fortified after practicing with her. My students benefitting through me.

I learned so much from Bobby. She taught with such relaxed grace and care. I loved to watch her do Urdhva Dhanurasana. She had such strong legs and such a strong back.

She saw me through my entire pregnancy and offered the most delicious variations for me to try. So so helpful.

Her students loved her because she was so lovable and wise.

Thank you for all that you shared so generously Bobby. You are missed.

Life is made up of the people we love and who love us. It is also made up of the people we lose, some to distance, to fracture, to the drift of a season ending. Both are true. Both are life.

Since October 7th I have been sitting with the particular grief of friendship loss. The kind that doesn’t get a ceremony or a condolence card. Just the absence.

A Jewish Reckoning is a 3-week series on friendship, loss, betrayal and belonging. Rooted in Jewish wisdom. Open to everyone. Because this kind of grief belongs to all of us.
