Amardeep Parmar’s work is rooted in a simple belief: access should not depend on who you know, where you grew up, or whether people like you are already in the room.
Based in London, with family roots in Panjab, Amardeep runs Bae HQ, an ecosystem for Asian-heritage founders and investors in the UK.
His path has taken him from East London to the Bank of England, tech consulting, founder storytelling, and global startup media. But the real turning point came after his father passed away in 2022.
His dad had spent his life helping small businesses survive and grow. That legacy reshaped how Amardeep thought about success, impact, and what he wanted to build next.
Today, through Bae HQ, he is creating community, visibility, and opportunity for Asian-heritage founders, operators, investors, and students. He is especially proud of running impact programmes for state school students from underprivileged backgrounds, helping them build entrepreneurship skills and see possibility earlier.
For Amardeep, this work is about paying it forward.
“What better way to honour him than to do it for others.”
