Amardeep Parmar’s work is rooted in a simple belief: access should not depend on who you know, where you grew up, or whether people like you are already in the room.

Based in London, with family roots in Panjab, Amardeep runs Bae HQ, an ecosystem for Asian-heritage founders and investors in the UK.

His path has taken him from East London to the Bank of England, tech consulting, founder storytelling, and global startup media. But the real turning point came after his father passed away in 2022.

His dad had spent his life helping small businesses survive and grow. That legacy reshaped how Amardeep thought about success, impact, and what he wanted to build next.

Today, through Bae HQ, he is creating community, visibility, and opportunity for Asian-heritage founders, operators, investors, and students. He is especially proud of running impact programmes for state school students from underprivileged backgrounds, helping them build entrepreneurship skills and see possibility earlier.

For Amardeep, this work is about paying it forward.

“What better way to honour him than to do it for others.”

At Nila Cares, we go beyond appointments and check-ins.

We work as an extension of the family, helping parents in India receive consistent, proactive support while their loved ones live abroad.

From hospital visits and medical coordination to prescription management and emergency support, our team is there on the ground when it matters most.

In this video, Karthik, Ebra, and Vinay share more about how Nila supports families across India with trusted, human-centered care.

Healthcare can be difficult to navigate, especially for older adults managing multiple appointments, medications, and health concerns.

A health advocate helps coordinate care, follow up on important details, communicate with providers, and support families through the process.

For families living abroad, having trusted support on the ground can make care more clear, organized, and consistent.

At Nila Cares, our Family Care Managers help families navigate healthcare for their loved ones in India.

Ankita Rao’s work began with a question many immigrants and third culture kids know intimately: where do you locate yourself when no single place gives you the full answer?

From EY to TechnoServe, the LEAP Pecaut Centre for Social Impact, and public sector advisory, her career has moved across countries, sectors, and systems. But beneath the professional path has always been a deeper inquiry into identity, purpose, agency, and what it means to build a life between worlds.

Today, through Lost and Found Mentoring, Ankita helps professionals and entrepreneurs navigate major transitions with the same rigor they bring to their careers, drawing from yogic philosophy not as doctrine, but as a framework for self-knowledge and intentional decision-making.

For her, the work is also legacy. It is for the women in her family who came before her, especially her grandmother, who insisted on agency first.

“The hardest part is that no single world hands you a complete mirror. You have to build your own.”

Good eldercare involves more than responding to emergencies.

It includes regular medical follow-ups, daily monitoring, and coordination across doctors, tests, and treatments.

Without a structured system, important details can be missed over time.

Nila brings these elements together to provide consistent, on-ground care for parents in India.

India’s elderly population is growing, and more families are living apart than ever before.

Many parents are managing their health and daily needs on their own, while their children are trying to support them from abroad.

This often leads to gaps in care, missed follow-ups, and constant uncertainty.

Nila helps families stay connected and ensures parents in India receive consistent, trusted care, even from a distance.

She moved to the US ten years ago with a suitcase, a new marriage, and the quiet belief that she wasn't done yet.

No network. No safety net. Just consistency and a willingness to start over.

Today Shreya coaches immigrants through the same turning point she once faced finding their footing, their confidence, and their next opportunity in America.

Every evening at 9pm IST, she calls home to Chittorgarh. Every decision she makes is still partly for her parents, the two people who believed in her education before she believed in herself.

This is what building between two worlds actually looks like.

Vaisakhi is a time to celebrate new beginnings, faith, and family.

Many people mark the day by visiting the gurdwara, sharing meals, and spending time with loved ones.

If you’re far from home, these moments can feel different.

Nila is here to help you stay connected and support your family, wherever you are.

Meet Vishal Mesi.

He grew up in Rampur, UP, surrounded by medical professionals in his family. He watched them help people. And he decided he wanted to do the same.

With over 10 years experience, Vishal is a qualified nurse and one of our Family Care Managers based in Delhi, looking in on ageing parents whose children are thousands of miles away.

He didn’t choose this field by accident. He chose it because he believes healthcare is one of the few places you can make a real, tangible difference in someone’s life.

That’s who we hire at Nila Cares. People who chose this work on purpose.

If your parents are in India and you’re not sure where to start, take our free Eldercare Risk Score, it takes 2 minutes and tells you exactly what to look out for: nilacares.com/risk-assessment.
