Softly aging - my take on skincare, then vs now
I’ve always loved skin. Over time, my perspective has shifted and here’s what actually matters if you want healthy, glowing skin:
1. There’s no one-size-fits-all. Your skin is unique, and your treatment plan should be too.
2. Genetics matter. They influence how you age and how you respond to treatments.
3. Skincare isn’t a trend. That TikTok shop cart? Probably not it. Be intentional with what you invest in.
4. Great skin comes from thoughtful, well-planned in-office treatments. Consistency > quick fixes. Trust the process.
5. Results take time. Skin turns over about every 28 days, and collagen remodeling takes 3–6 months. That “glass skin” you see online? Often temporary (and great lighting).
6. The real anti-aging foundation: sleep, nutrition, stress management, and daily SPF. No treatment can outwork poor habits or UV damage.
7. Start early, even if it’s subtle. Treatments that stimulate collagen over time will strengthen your skin and soften signs of aging.
8. Don’t Groupon your face. Who you see matters. Experience, technique, and judgment directly impact your results—and your safety.
9. Don’t hyper-focus on everything. Prioritize the top 2–3 concerns and treat them well.
10. Keep your individuality. The goal isn’t to change your face—it’s to refine, refresh, and enhance what’s already there.
I’m here for soft aging—natural, intentional, and built over time.
