Congratulations to the recipients of the PNA NY North Star Service Medallion Awards.

The award commemorates one’s North Star, the very definition of purpose. We recognize our awardees’ dedication and commitment to serving the organization, the profession and the communities we represent and serve. The recognition highlights the service our dedicated officers have committed themselves to and in representing our heritage and profession.

An open letter of gratitude to our PNA NY members, supporters and collaborative partners

There is a beautiful word, in Filipino that embodies the spirit of gratitude. The word is PASASALAMAT. It translates to recognizing the goodness we receive and, in turn, paying it forward.

We hoped that our gratitude for our members, partners, and collaborators was felt in every moment of the celebration at our Annual PNA NY Membership Appreciation Picnic last Saturday.

We are deeply and sincerely grateful for everyone’s unwavering support, generous partnership, and relentless commitment to seeing our organization grow and succeed.

Our members are at the heart of everything we do, and it was our privilege to pause, celebrate, and honor them.

We hope that the picnic gathering reminded everyone how much they are valued, appreciated, and cherished. Our accomplishments are not the work of one person or one team, they are the result of a community that believes in our mission and a family that continues to show up for one another.

To everyone who joined us, we thank you for celebrating with us. Your presence made the occasion even more meaningful and memorable.

And to our incredible team of leaders and volunteers who went above and beyond to make the picnic a success, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your dedication, hard work, and teamwork truly embody what makes our organization special.

As we continue this journey together, may we carry the spirit of pasasalamat (gratitude) in all that we do. We are truly grateful for how far we have come, and hopeful and excited for all that we will accomplish together.

We truly enjoyed a wonderful spread of food at our annual picnic yesterday!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who brought delicious dishes to share, and to Leslie of LXP Capampangan Cuisine for catering our celebration.

We are especially grateful to our PNA NY Advisor, Ms. Carmen Meliton, for generously sponsoring the lechon. Thank you to Kabayan in Woodside, NY for the star of our picnic - the lechon.

We are truly appreciative of everyone for making our gathering even more special with their food contributions. Everything was absolutely delicious!

We, at PNA NY, would like to thank our members who attended our Annual Membership Appreciation Picnic this Saturday, Aug. 22 at the Glen Island Park in New Rochelle.

It was so much fun and we appreciate everyone for making it a memorable event.

Our gratitude to our Ways and Means Committee, led by Maia Santarina (Aiam Santarina), Vice President and Chair of Ways and Means, for making this picnic a successful and well attended event.

Thank you to our game masters, Soc Almario, Cori Florece Ruiz, Melody Cubas, Camille Florendo and their team of helpers for engaging everyone in parlor games and raffle prizes.
