On this day in Detroit, Michigan of 1979, I was born. It has been a journey to live this life, to walk this path, to experience what I have experienced. I’m thankful for my health, the people who care about me, having shelter, clean clothes and food. This life I have lived has not been easy, it has not been anywhere close to being perfect. It has always been about finding the meaning of it, no matter how hard and painful. Finding the way through it has always been my strength. As I’m close to living a half of a century on this planet, I know that it ain’t over. I know there’s so much more to live and receive out of this life.
