What does stress really look like?
When we think of stress, we often think of emotions. But stress is also physiological.
Oxidative stress can affect the brain, immune system, hormones, connective tissue, energy production, detoxification pathways, and overall health. Sometimes what looks like anxiety, exhaustion, inflammation, brain fog, poor recovery, or chronic health struggles may have deeper biological roots.
Understanding your genetics and methylation pathways may provide valuable clues. Many people are now exploring genetic variants such as MTHFR and other related pathways to better understand how their bodies process nutrients, detoxify, repair tissue, and respond to stress.
Knowledge is power.
Knowing your genetic tendencies can help you make more informed decisions about nutrition, supplements, lifestyle, and even medical procedures. It can also help you identify things that may place additional stress on your system and learn how to better support your body’s natural healing processes.
At Revive the Tribe, we believe education is the first step toward empowerment.
