Not everyone will understand your journey—and that’s okay.

This isn’t just about covert bullying (just happened to me) or being misunderstood.

What broke my heart didn’t break my purpose!
It’s about staying rooted in truth when people judge you without knowing your story, question your path, or try to make you doubt your purpose.

I’ve learned that you can’t control what others choose to believe. You can control how you respond, how you carry yourself, and whether you allow someone else’s opinion to define your worth.

The lesson at the end reminded me why my faith has carried me through some of the hardest seasons of my life. If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, I hope you’ll watch until the end. 🤍

Have you ever experienced criticism disguised as kindness?

Stay the course. Build what matters. Protect your peace. Your purpose is bigger than the opinions of others.

If this message resonated with you, you’re in the right place. Beauty has never been just about skin. Follow along as we explore the connection between beauty, stress, healing, and living authentically.

Lately, I’ve been feeling the effects of Beauty Burnout too.

When I looked in the mirror, I noticed my under-eye area looked different. I’ve always had some natural pigment, but has felt deeper. My skin looked tired because I felt exhausted, mentally and physically lately, but carrying a lot for a long time!

As an esthetician for close to 35 years, I’ve learned that when my skin starts reflecting what I’m carrying, the answer isn’t always more products but support.

I simplify my skincare routine and focus on skin barrier health, hydration, ingredients that support skin regeneration, and giving my body the rest and nourishment it needs.

By the end of this video, you’ll notice my skin looks brighter and more refreshed—but what I love most is that I feel more like myself again. Sometimes a little goes a long way. Less is more! And lots of quality sleep too 😴 💤💤

The Faith Lamellar Mode Energizing Collection💫

We often blame aging alone.

But what I’m seeing in practice is something deeper. As collagen production slows and elasticity changes, the skin is also responding to stress, circulation, hormonal shifts, and overall vitality.

This is why I love the Faith Energizing Collection. Formulated with ingredients like GHK-Cu Copper Peptides, powerful antioxidants, and advanced lamellar technology, it helps support collagen, elasticity, barrier function, and healthier-looking skin. For mature/peri+menopausal skin.

Beauty Is an Inside Job® 💫
Supporting Skin Beyond Wrinkles
Wrinkles are only part of the story.
Healthy, vibrant skin depends on structure, resilience, circulation, and the resources your skin receives every day.

The Energizing Collection is a “faithful” partner!

I don’t chase perfect skin.I support healthy skin. After more than 30 years in aesthetics, I’ve learned that healthy skin isn’t built by constantly changing products.

It’s built through consistency, thoughtful ingredients, and supporting the skin through every season of life.

When someone called you dramatic 🎬🎞️

I came across a post that suggested we start texting and speaking to our friends like old-time explorers…

It made me laugh. Then it stayed with me and got me thinking. I’ve always loved old spaghetti westerns… something about the silence, the landscape, the story told in wide open space.

So I decided to begin my own —occasional dispatches from the Texas Frontier. Let’s se where it takes us.

Not because this is the journey I expected…but because I am still walking it, step by step.

Dispatch from the Texas Frontier
Field Journal No. 1
A Different Kind of Freedom 🇺🇸

This is a glimpse into my days on this land in Texas that I have built—slow living, nature, wildlife (and its animal medicine), and a quiet healing journey and the inner terrain that has asked more of me and one that I never expected to be on.

If you’re in a season that feels unfamiliar, heavy, or not at all what you thought you were signing up for…you’re not alone.

The expedition continues… I hope you enjoy my short film :) 🎥

I would love to know what season you’re walking and to read your thoughts ♥️

Your faithful explorer,

Trends come and go. Skin truth doesn’t. What the skin is communicating has always been the same-stress, emotions, hormones, sleep, overwhelm, life.

This is timeless!

It’s easy to blame moisturizer, but much harder to pause and ask what else might be happening beneath the surface. But skin is responsive and will reflect the internal environment it’s living in.

Stress. Sleep. Nervous System Load. Lifestyle.

When we start to understand that, everything begins to shift. This is what I call Beauty Burnout.

[Many people experience what I call Beauty Burnout—when stress, hormones, and lifestyle start showing up in the skin. Working between Austin and New York City, I see this pattern constantly in skin]

The skin is rarely the problem.
It is often the messenger.

In my work, I see women investing in excellent skincare and treatments—yet still experiencing shifts in tone, brightness, and resilience.

And often I’ll share, this is where I’m noticing my beauty burnout showing up… around the eyes, in the laxity, in the depletion of brightness.

Where are you noticing it in your own skin?

This is where we begin to shift the conversation toward skin regeneration, stress physiology, and emotional internal load.

And I’ll be honest, skin change requires some level of support, internally or externally. When there is no consistency, no nourishment, and no engagement with what the body is asking for, expectations often don’t match results. That’s when I have to give my tough love speech and bring people back down to reality. 😂

If I can’t see you in person, my Virtual Skin Strategy Sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are and create a clear plan forward.

Slow down. Your body has been holding more than you realize.

Tension in the jaw, neck, and around the ears isn’t just physical… it’s where stress lingers, where breath gets shallow, where the nervous system stays on guard.

Through slow, intentional touch, we begin to soften these patterns of holding—supporting the vagus nerve, inviting the body back into a state of ease. Storing tension, staying alert, bracing for more. But you don’t have to live there.

When you begin to soften the body, you create space to think clearly, feel differently, and choose differently. This is how things start to change.
Not by forcing, but by coming back to yourself.

Less holding on. Less over-giving. More showing up for yourself. More living. More radiating like yourself again. 🤍

Two years into my grey journey, and what I’ve learned is this: grey is not the enemy. Neglect is.

What I didn’t expect was that it would become a journey at all. At first, the decision was mostly convenience. But somewhere along the way… it became freedom.

Freedom from constant maintenance.
Freedom from chasing youth.
Freedom from other people’s opinions.

I’ve heard it all.
“You’ll look older.”
“Your face is so youthful, it doesn’t match the hair.”
“You’re so courageous. I could never do that.”

But going grey isn’t courage.

Courage is surviving the dark seasons of life.
Courage is surviving illness.
Surviving domestic violence.
Surviving psychological abuse.
Surviving assault.
Surviving miscarriage or the heartbreak of never conceiving.
Surviving betrayal at its deepest level.
Surviving loss.
Surviving the moments life dismantles you — and finding a way to rebuild. Women carry these stories quietly.

And the long list of what women have endured and survived silently. That lightning bolt of silver cutting through my dark hair has taught me more than any product ever could.

Grey hair is thirstier, more porous, and far more honest than the hair we had before. It shows you:

• how hydrated you are
•how your nervous system is regulating (or not — mine has been begging for relief lately)
•how your inner vitality flows

I see it every day — women with silver hair who glow, luminous and magnetic, and others who look depleted, not because of the grey but because something deeper is out of balance. The hair, like the skin, is a messenger.

After decades of guiding women’s skin, body, and wellness, I can say this with certainty: vitality begins within. When the internal landscape is nourished, the hair, skin, and energy reflect it naturally.

On International Women’s Day, I celebrate the strength, resilience, wisdom, and radiance of women at every age. It’s also in recognition of the deeper inner work so many women are doing to become more self-aware, emotionally literate and more aligned with the lives they want to create. This changes lives for the better!

My books, Beauty Is an Inside Job® — Autumn & Winter Editions, explore these ideas more deeply, offering guidance on skin, body, and emotional health so women can thrive inside and out. Link in bio 📙

Lymph Lift Party 🎶✨

Not every sculpted jawline comes from tightening. Often, it comes from drainage and flow. Many of the lifted, defined jawlines everyone wants are the result of moving stagnant lymphatic fluid that collects under the chin, around the ears, and along the jawline.

When fluid lingers, the area can appear puffy, heavy, or less defined.
But when lymph begins to move again, everything changes. Fluid drains,Waste and cellular by-products clear.Circulation improves, Cells can once again receive the oxygen and nutrients they need. The tissue becomes lighter, smoother, and the natural structure of the jawline begins to reappear.

During my Jet Glow facial, (or added to any facial) the handpiece works along the lymphatic pathways while delivering a gentle stream that supports this detoxification process. The solution contains ingredients such as aloe, saline, hyaluronic acid, and mineral elements that help hydrate and soothe the skin.

After this clearing phase, we reinfuse the skin with targeted vitamins and minerals, selected based on the skin’s specific needs. Once circulation and lymphatic flow improve, the skin is far more receptive to nourishment.

The result is a party for your complexion and skin that looks and feels:
smoothsilkyliftedrefreshed
Less congested and alive

Sometimes the most powerful approach to beauty is not forcing change.
It’s restoring healthy movement and flow so the skin can function the way it was designed to.

Understanding how lymphatic flow affects the skin is something I explore more deeply in my book Beauty is an Inside Job® where I talk about how circulation, fluid movement, and internal health all shape the way our skin ages and heals. 📕Link in Bio to purchase and reserve your next appointment.

Appointments are now open Late March/April 🌆 NYC facial sessions available for online booking🌵 Texas appointments will open late April 🎉

After 30 years of doing this…I still get excited for this moment. There is something sacred about handing someone the mirror.

Yes — sometimes it truly feels like the Lord’s work. Helping women and men feel confident, radiant, and seen in a world that can feel heavy and harsh… that matters.

The smile when you see your skin (yourself) differently. That confidence returning.

This isn’t the “waxy” glass skin trend.
This is living skin. Healthy skin.Hydrated. Oxygenated. Circulation. Blood flow.

She had just returned from Japan — and I experienced the same thing after my travels there. Such a beautiful place… and yet travel can quietly challenge the skin.

High sodium in the food. Dehydration.Airplane air.Jet lag.
It shows up quickly:
congestion around the mouth, blackheads along the jawline, subtle inflammation, texture that wasn’t there before. Nothing dramatic, but Just small distractions.

Today we did plasma rejuvenation with a focus on circulation, detox support, and barrier repair. She already has beautiful skin. We simply enhanced what was there.

And here’s what truly makes the difference:
She shows up.She follows her home care. She follows guidelines and suggestions. She asks questions. She’s consistent.

Great skin is never just what happens in my treatment room. It’s a collaboration. And I will never get tired of watching someone reconnect with their radiance. That moment still lights me up.

I love u my clients! 😘🌹♥️

Estheticians — after years in practice, does that mirror moment still move you? Because for me… it never gets old.
