Classes are generally the first Thursday of the month 7:30pm-9:00pm, with a few exceptions/additions - the full schedule is posted in the application.

Free healthcare should be a thing & the NY Health Act - our state universal healthcare bill - includes undocumented immigrants because EVERYONE should get the care they need.
NO EXCEPTIONS.

And we will still save billions of dollars by eliminating health insurance company profits & billing bloat.

A humane healthcare system is possible.

P.S. Immigrants contribute billions in taxes but don’t “qualify” for publicly funded care currently.

Care should be provided as a human right, not reserved for the privileged & lucky.

The NY Health Act is a bill in the NYS Legislature that has majority support in both the State Senate and the State Assembly! It is universal, single-payer healthcare for EVERY New Yorker regardless of immigration, employment, marital, income or any other status. Economic studies show it saves at least 90% of New Yorkers money - no more choosing between groceries and rent or healthcare and medications or gas. No more co-pays, deductibles, insurance premiums or out-of-pockets costs. No more surprise bills. No more denials. Let’s win this together!

Things do not have to be this way! There is abundance in the United States. It is currently being distributed unjustly.

Our elders, our patients, our healthcare workers, our families and neighbors should not need to jump through such bureaucratic and traumatic hoops. Being in pain or learning you have a terminal condition is already stressful enough.

bc no one should worry about whether their medical care will be covered, especially when at their most vulnerable.

The NY Health Act is a bill in the NYS Legislature that has majority support in both the State Senate and the State Assembly! It very intentionally INCLUDES long-term care - something almost no private or union medical insurance plan covers.
