Weekly Musing #1 (again). Omg I figured out a way to post this! Phew 😮‍💨 This is the first of the Weekly Musings for 2025. I’ll be sending these out in an email to everyone on my mailing list. Mr Myagi was 52 in the original Karate Kid. Bodhi is obsessed with . We’re watching the original, and it’s amazing how many references there are in the show, from the movie. We did the math and realized Mr Myagi was the age I am now. And Ralph Macchio is currently 11 years older than Mr Myagi was in the original .

Sometimes lack of control can feel powerless. Control cannot be asserted and have any lasting power. This is good news. For two reasons. No one can assert their control and make it stick permanently. And number two, you are off the hook for having to physically tear yourself up. The solution is in the Emotion. Some things may seem out of our control on a physical level. But emotionally, we can strengthen. Start there. Because in the end, that’s the real power. You got this.
