Bella Lisa Pancreatic Cancer Foundation This is the official page for the Bella Lisa Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. Staten Island's first & o I don't know how she does it but I admire her strength.

As many of you know my Mother was diagnosed with stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer in March 2013. Since than and even as we speak my Mom is such a strong women. She has a fight in her that is unbelievable,
There are days when I look at her and I ask myself how does she do it. She is such a happy women and when she loves she loves with her whole heart. I've never in my life
have come across someone who l

oves life as much as my mom does. I guess that's where I got my strength from, it must be in the blood (LOL). I never imagined being told that my mother has the big "C"! Well that day came and I will admit it was the WORST day of my 34 years of life. I can't describe the heartbrake I felt, it's a feeling that I hope nobody ever has to endure. At first I felt empty kind of like somebody sucked the life out of me. Than I looked at my Mom
and my heart broke into a zillion pieces, than I got MAD! I'm a firm believer that
everything happens for a reason, but still to this day I cant figure out what the f**k the reason is that MY MOM
has not only cancer but Pancreatic Cancer! I will never understand why but what I do know is
I love my Mother with all my heart. So at that point I knew I had to be the "STRONG" one. That's just what I've been "STRONG". Sadly my mother gained her purple wings on the night of May 1, 2015. Her battle was 2 short years and she fought until her last breath. Pancreatic Cancer changed my entire life. I will do whatever it takes to help others who are fighting P.C. and help the families cope in their time of need.
