Summer is winding down and I’m entering this last quarter grateful for it ALL: the lessons, the blessings, what left, what stayed & what’s still on the way.

Moving with intention. Protecting my peace. Drinking my herbs. Moving my body. Prioritizing self-care. Making room for joy.

No forcing. No chasing. Just doing what feels good and pouring back into me.

Life lately: soft, intentional & at peace.

Only aligned energy, good experiences, and ease live here now. What I released made room for more love, more clarity, & more abundance.

I don’t lack, I transition with grace. Bigger bag. Realer friends. Softer nervous system. Period.

So if I’ve changed? Good. Growth will do that to you.

As a Black millennial woman, I’ve learned that peace is not luck… it’s a lifestyle 🤎

Every day I choose the things that keep me grounded:

✨ prayer
✨ 10k steps
✨ lifting weights
✨ lots of protein
✨ plenty of water 
✨ taking my herbs
✨ fruits & veggies
✨ minding my business

That last one? Whew… it’ll change your life 😂

Life will always be lifing. Something is always happening somewhere. But I’ve realized I don’t have to attend every argument, mess, or battle.

I’m choosing softness. I’m choosing health. I’m choosing a regulated nervous system. I’m choosing the version of me that sleeps well at night.

You really do get to decide how you spend your days. Me? I’m spending mine protecting my peace and letting God handle the rest 🙌🏽

A decade of eating my greens, exercising, drinking my water, & minding my business.

This glow didn’t come from stress. It came from discipline, devotion to self, and saying “no” without a paragraph. 💅🏾

Cheers to ten years of choosing myself, protecting my peace like it’s sacred (because it is), and letting my life get softer while my standards got higher.

I’m locked in & it’s bigger than me.

Every workout, every green smoothie, every boundary I set…that’s me choosing a life my mama & her mama didn’t always get to have.

They were in survival mode, holding it all together, pouring from cups that stayed empty.

But me? I’m choosing fullness. I’m choosing strength. I’m choosing rest, discipline, and a body that feels as good as it looks.

This is for the women before me and the ones coming after me. Cycle breaker energy only ✨

Eating like I love myself, working out like I plan to be fine forever, taking my herbs, & staying well hydrated.

Ain’t no shortcuts over here, just consistency and fine-tuning. These ain’t chores… these are rituals.

Future me is already somewhere saying, “Girl thank you for not playing about me.” And I love that for her 💖

I’m intentional about protecting my mind, body, spirit, & peace. I’m not waiting until I’m exhausted, overwhelmed, or burnt out to finally choose myself.

Every day I’m pouring back into me:
