We’re thrilled to welcome Stevie Oakes, SPT to FlySpace for her final DPT clinical internship through Tufts University! Stevie comes to us with an extensive background as a professional dancer, dance educator, and dance science specialist, including an MFA in Dance from NYU.

Stevie will be working alongside Haley Loeffler, PT, DPT, her Clinical Instructor, through December and will gradually become more involved in patient care as the semester progresses. Stay tuned—we’ll also be introducing discounted cash-pay sessions with Stevie soon!

When Broadway comes together, incredible things happen. ❤️

What an incredible Sunday supporting !

The FlySpace team joined forces with an amazing group of physical therapists, physicians, and administrative volunteers to support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, and we’re deeply grateful for everyone who shows up year after year to make this event possible.

serves as a lifeline for countless individuals during times of need. Our volunteer medical team provided 144 physical therapy triage appointments, helping performers, crew members, and creative teams stay healthy, safe, and moving throughout an extraordinary day.

Watching the performing arts medicine community come together with so much generosity, expertise, and joy reminds us exactly why we do this work. We’re incredibly proud to stand alongside so many dedicated volunteers and to care for the artists who give so much of themselves.

To everyone who donated your time, your skills, and your heart—thank you. We truly are better together.

Do you sometimes wish FlySpace were just steps from your theater? Well… your wish may have come true.

For those working in and around the theater district, having easier access to PT closer to rehearsals and performances has made consistency with care much more manageable during busy schedules.

Sessions are available for both workers’ compensation and cash-based patients. This is simply an extension of your care at our W 81st Street clinic — your documentation, communication, and continuity of care will remain exactly the same, just in a more convenient location for some of our theater community.

Treating therapist: Marissa Schaeffer (Marissa will coordinate directly with your primary therapist to ensure continuity of care.)
