At T’aqrachullo in southern Peru, archaeologists have uncovered hundreds of structures and ceremonial objects, including thousands of gold, silver, and copper sequins tied to Inca elite dress. The discoveries are prompting scholars not only to reconsider T’aqrachullo’s significance as a major political, economic, and religious hub, but also to question whether it could be Ancocagua—a sacred fortress and one of the five most important temple sites across the entire Inca Empire.

Inka Traditional Medicine Awareness Campaign.

Precious and very sophisticated gold nose ornament from the Moche Culture at the North of Peru, approximately 100-800 CE.
The Moche artist created this perfectly symmetric piece of two intertwined serpents and a silver crescent-shaped plaque. The Moche people were very intelligent, and creative, who were able to develop alloy techniques beautifully. They had an excellent diet and health including animal and vegetable protein, and dedicated ancient doctors to help them to survive during those challenging times for the better and for an excellent legacy.
