Know early. At Tina's Wish, we believe that the most effective way to fight ovarian cancer is to diagnose it at its earliest, most curable stage or to prevent it from ever developing. Since 2008, we have raised more than $17 million for scientific research into the early detection and prevention of ovarian cancer. Th

Every story matters. Before diagnosis, many women experience symptoms so subtle, they are dismissed as normal. This , we're asking everyone to listen closer. If something doesn't feel right, talk to your doctor.

Some women experience no symptoms at all. That's exactly why staying aware, keeping up with regular checkups, and prioritizing your gynecologic health matters so much. Know the symptoms:

- Bloating
- Feeling Full Quickly
- Urgent or Frequent Urination
- Pelvic or Abdominal Pain

At 25, Alix Earle is bringing an important conversation about genetic risk to a new generation.

In a new Netflix series, Earle shared that she and her sister Ashtin Earle tested positive for an inherited BRCA gene variant after their mother’s breast cancer diagnosis.

Inherited BRCA variants can increase the risk of breast and ovarian cancer, which is why knowing your family history is so important.

This , talk to your family. Know your history. Know your risk.

Elisabeth's symptoms were subtle and easy to miss. They led to a Stage 4B ovarian cancer diagnosis in 2017. Soon after, her sister Susan chose to undergo preventive surgery, and tissue testing revealed early signs of ovarian cancer in her fallopian tubes, where we now know many ovarian cancers begin.

Together, the sisters co-founded Fierce Sisters which funds early detection research at UCLA; turning their story into inspiration for other families.

Thank you, Elisabeth, and Susan, for sharing your story and reminding us why knowing our family history matters.

This , we honor these women, and the countless others who have faced ovarian cancer with strength, courage, and determination. We celebrate their lives, the people they love, and the futures they are looking forward to.🩵

We are also reminded how much work remains. There is still no reliable screen for ovarian cancer, which makes early detection a challenge for far too many women. At Tina's Wish, we are committed to funding research focused on early detection and prevention.

Throughout the month, we will share stories from women who have faced this disease. Listen. Learn. Share them. If you have a story of your own, share it with us in the comments or PM/DM.

Every story helps spread knowledge and brings us closer to a future where ovarian cancer is detected earlier.

Ovarian cancer symptoms can be subtle and easy to dismiss.

This reinforces why developing an effective early detection screening test is so critical, and why Tina’s Wish is committed to funding the research to make it possible. In the meantime, knowing the signs and symptoms and trusting your body when something doesn’t feel right is so important.

Persistent bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, feeling full quickly, or changes in urinary habits that last for more than two weeks shouldn’t be ignored.

Tune into our What to Know Down Below® podcast episode “Don’t Grin and Bear It: Signs & Symptoms of Ovarian Cancer” to learn more about the signs and symptoms to know and the importance of advocating for your health. 🎧https://whattoknow.buzzsprout.com/1612300/episodes/13678968-don-t-grin-and-bear-it-signs-symptoms-of-ovarian-cancer

Kimberly Connors was an artist who found beauty in the little things.

After Kimberly passed away from ovarian cancer, her mother, Maggie Yee, created Kimberly's PSA to honor her daughter and help raise awareness through art. It's a beautiful tribute to Kimberly's life and a reminder of the importance of trusting your body and advocating for your health.
