Big shout-out to Delta for coming through Skintrade Tattoo and getting tattooed by Rene Soto. Truly appreciate the trust.

For those who might not know — Delta is a real pioneer of NYC graffiti, coming out of Spanish Harlem in the late 1970s, back when writers were painting subway trains and building the culture from the ground up. This was before galleries, before brands — when style, reputation, and risk were everything.

Delta is best known for:
• Being part of the original subway graffiti era
• A strong, unmistakable handstyle
• Helping shape early New York graffiti culture
• Moving graffiti from the streets into galleries and exhibitions worldwide

Over the years, he’s worked alongside and been connected with heavy hitters like Ramellzee and other key figures who helped push graffiti into new artistic and cultural spaces.

Seeing someone who helped build NYC visual culture sit down for ink is something special.
