This session focuses on the clinical foundations of hospice and palliative care chaplaincy, preparing spiritual care providers to work effectively with patients, families, hospice teams, and the realities of dying. Students will develop practical skills that can be applied directly to hospice practice.

This session centers on the human experience of serious illness, aging, dying, caregiving, and bereavement. Students will deepen their ability to provide patient-led, culturally responsive spiritual care to individuals and families across the end-of-life journey.
