In honor of Black History Month, we are highlighting the work of Dr. Kymyona Burk, who helped create astonishing advances in reading and literacy for students across the state of Mississippi. Dr. Burk is currently a senior policy fellow at ExcelinEd, where she helps states build new or improved K-3 reading policies.
