Scoliosis isn’t just a condition that affects teenagers.

Many adults live with scoliosis—whether they were diagnosed years ago, developed degenerative scoliosis later in life, or are experiencing symptoms for the first time.

Common concerns may include:
• Back pain
• Muscle fatigue
• Postural changes
• Reduced mobility
• Breathing limitations

The good news? Movement matters.

A personalized approach that includes scoliosis-specific exercise, breathing strategies, strength training, and education can help individuals move more confidently and comfortably.

It’s never too late to learn more about your spine.

Vacation mode: ON 🌊☀️

One thing I love about Pilates is that it can travel with you wherever life takes you. While spending the week at the beach with my family, I had the opportunity to take a class Right Balance Pilates and get some time on the reformer.

As healthcare providers, parents, and busy professionals, we often think consistency means perfection. The truth is that consistency simply means continuing to show up for yourself—even in different environments and seasons of life.

Movement doesn’t have to stop because you’re on vacation. In fact, it can be one of the best ways to feel energized, manage stress, and fully enjoy the moments that matter most.

Grateful for welcoming studios that allow me to keep learning, moving, and growing wherever I go.

Now it’s back to making memories with my husband and son and family, collecting seashells, and soaking up some beach time. ❤️

How do you stay active while traveling?

I know you’re worried.

You’re wondering:
“Will it get worse?”
“Will my child need surgery?”
“What do we do now?”

Take a breath.

Today, you don’t need every answer.

You just need the next step.

Your child is still the same amazing kid they were before the diagnosis! ❤️❤️❤️

One of the biggest misconceptions about scoliosis is that it’s simply a sideways curve.

In reality, scoliosis can affect much more than spinal alignment.

It may impact:
• Breathing
• Endurance
• Balance
• Comfort
• Confidence

That’s why treatment should always focus on how scoliosis is affecting YOUR life.

💙 You are more than your Cobb angle.

For many people, a scoliosis diagnosis comes out of nowhere.

You may feel:
• Confused
• Scared
• Overwhelmed
• Unsure where to start

The good news? A diagnosis is not the end of the story.

Whether you’re a parent navigating a new diagnosis for your child, an adult learning why you’ve had pain for years, or someone living with a spinal fusion, there are steps you can take to better understand your body and improve your quality of life.

Scoliosis isn’t just about an X-ray.
It’s about helping real people move, breathe, and live more confidently.

💙 You don’t have to figure it out alone.

My heart is full. ❤️

One of my patients surprised me with this handmade card, a big hug, a keychain, and another thoughtful gift.

As physical therapists, we spend so much time focusing on treatment plans, exercises, documentation, and outcomes that we sometimes forget the true privilege of what we get to do every day: connect with people.

Seeing a young girl gain confidence, learn something new, and feel empowered in her own body is one of the greatest rewards of this profession.

This sweet note reminded me that healing isn’t always measured by degrees of motion, strength scores, or test results. Sometimes it’s measured by trust, connection, and the relationships we build along the way.

To all of my patients—past and present—thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. Your victories become my victories too-ALWAYS. ❤️

🚨 Tonight at 6 PM!

After years of working with individuals living with scoliosis, one thing has become clear:

Many people are never taught how breathing and movement are connected to their scoliosis.

They’re told to watch their curve, strengthen their core, or improve their posture—but rarely are they taught how their rib cage, breathing patterns, and daily movement habits can influence how they feel and function.

That’s exactly what we’ll be discussing tonight.

Join me for a FREE webinar:
🫁 What Most Scoliosis Patients Aren’t Told About Breathing & Movement

We’ll cover:
✔ The role breathing plays in scoliosis
✔ Common movement patterns that may contribute to discomfort
✔ Why posture is more than “standing up straight”
✔ Practical strategies you can begin using immediately

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, have lived with scoliosis for years, or are supporting a loved one with scoliosis, this webinar is for you.

✨ I would love to see you there!
