New season. Same mat. Completely different version of what is possible when you decide to show up for yourself consistently. Autumn is a beautiful time to begin or begin again. We are here either way.

The mat does not ask you to be further along than you are. It does not compare you to the person next to you or the version of you from last year. It just asks you to be here, right now, doing what you can with what you have today. That is always enough.

We talk a lot about what happens during class. The poses, the flow, the breath, the community. But what we do not always say out loud is what happens after. 🌿

The steadiness you find in a hard pose shows up when a hard conversation catches you off guard. The patience you practice holding a difficult position shows up when life asks you to hold on a little longer. The breath you return to when things get shaky on the mat is the same breath you reach for when things get shaky everywhere else.

That is the real gift of a consistent practice. It does not stay at the studio. It follows you home, into your work, into your relationships, into the quietest and loudest moments of your life.

Yoga teacher translation guide.

"Find your edge" = this is going to be uncomfortable and that is the point.
"Breathe into it" = keep going, you are fine.
"Honor your body" = rest if you need to, we mean it.
"Beautiful" = we see you working and we are proud of you.
