Our team knows that IEP meetings can bring a lot of questions, which is why we're here to help you prepare. Autism Delaware's Family Navigators help families make sense of the special education system, from understanding services and therapies to accessing state programs like DDDS and Medicaid.

Before a meeting, many families find it useful to write down their child's strengths, the supports already in place, the concerns they want raised, and the questions they want answered. Those questions might include whether the current educational setting is meeting your child's needs, how progress toward goals gets measured, or which supports should be documented in writing.

Call our Family Support team at (302) 224-6020, extension 219 to get a conversation started.

The Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) is proud to announce that Wilmington Airport (ILG) has officially joined the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower network effective today, September 1, 2026. This global initiative is designed to support travelers with non-apparent disabilities such as autism, anxiety, chronic pain, or hearing loss. The program ensures these passengers receive the patience and assistance they may need while navigating the often over-stimulating and bustling airport environment.
