We had a great time participating in the East Orange Housing Authority’s Annual Men’s Health Summit!

Our Peter Ho Memorial Center and Primary Care teams were on hand providing health information, resources, and connecting with members of the community about the importance of taking an active role in their health.

Dr. Jugeet Kanwal, Internal Medicine physician, spoke about prostate cancer and the importance of men staying proactive about screenings and preventive care. Khayree Taylor, counselor with our Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment (OSAT) program, also shared information about the treatment, support, and resources available to individuals in our community.

Thank you to the East Orange Housing Authority and the City of East Orange for bringing the community together for an important day focused on men’s health and wellness. We were proud to be a part of it!

We had a great time connecting with our Newark community at Fountain of Life Church’s Annual Community Summer Fair!

Our team was proud to join this wonderful community outreach event, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with our healthcare team and receive health screenings and information from the Peter Ho Memorial Center and our Primary Care Center.

Thank you to Fountain of Life Church for welcoming us and for bringing together families, organizations and resources in service to our community.

The Peter Ho Memorial Center at Saint Michael’s Medical Center was proud to participate in Bethel New Life Community Outreach Church’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors Community Day in East Orange.

Our team joined local organizations and community members to share health education, resources, and information about the services available through the Peter Ho Memorial Center. Events like these give us an opportunity to meet people where they are, answer questions, and help connect our neighbors with the care and resources they need.

It was a great day connecting with our community! 💙

This past weekend, the team from the Peter Ho Memorial Center at Saint Michael's Medical Center was proud to participate in the Newark Community Street Team (NCST) Heal the Block Community Day, where we shared HIV prevention education, wellness resources, and information about the services available through our program.

Events like these are an important reminder that improving community health starts with meeting people where they are. Thank you to the Newark Community Street Team for bringing together residents, organizations, and partners committed to healing, empowerment, and building a healthier Newark.

We're grateful to everyone who stopped by our table to ask questions, learn more, and connect with our team. Together, we're expanding access to education, prevention, and compassionate care.

Saint Michael's Medical Center was proud to participate in the Community Health Fair hosted by Life-Giving Church of God in partnership with the Newark Department of Health & Community Wellness over the weekend.

Our Peter Ho Memorial Center and Primary Care team enjoyed connecting with community members, sharing health education, and providing resources to help individuals and families take charge of their health. Our teams were on hand to answer questions, provide educational materials, and connect attendees with the care and services available at Saint Michael's.

Thank you to Life-Giving Church of God and all of the community partners for hosting such a meaningful event. We appreciate the opportunity to serve our neighbors and strengthen the health of our community together.
