Your pelvic floor symptoms may not be coming from your pelvic floor.
Because this area is connected to everything.
• Your breath.
• Your posture.
• Your movement patterns.

So if those aren’t working well:
• Pressure isn’t managed properly
• Muscles don’t coordinate well
• The pelvic floor takes on more than it should

That’s when symptoms show up.
• Leaks.
• Pain.
• Heaviness.
Not as isolated problems. But as part of a bigger system.

That’s why focusing on one area often isn’t enough.

Your microbiome thrives on one thing many women avoid.
𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆. Not eating the same meals every day.

Who falls into the “I eat the same thing everyday” category?
Your gut needs:
• Different types of fiber
• Different nutrients
• Different food sources
That’s what keeps it resilient.

When variety is low:
• Digestion becomes more sensitive
• Bloating sticks around
• Energy can feel off
IMMUNE HEALTH MAY DECLINE (because much of our immune system lives in the gut!)

More variety doesn’t mean complicated.
It means small changes over time.
That’s where things start to shift.

You miss everything that led up to it.
Your body is shaped by:
• Your stress
• Your habits
• Your past injuries
• The way you’ve learned to move and cope

You’re only getting part of the picture.
And partial answers lead to partial results.
Real change happens when your whole story is considered.

Many of my clients don’t even realize that their movement is restricted even after PT
If your body can’t move freely something else will compensate.
And that’s where problems start.

Because when your movement is limited:
• Certain muscles do more than they should
• Your body loses balance
So something has to pick up the slack.

That’s when you start to notice:
• Pain that shifts from place to place
• Stiffness that never fully goes away
• A body that feels tight no matter what you do

Not because nothing is working but because your body is compensating.
• You don’t fix this by doing more of the same.
• You fix it by restoring the movement your body is missing.

That’s where things start to change.

When you see the pattern, everything starts to make sense.

It’s not random.
It’s:
• Stress showing up in your body
• Tension that never fully resets
• Habits your body adapted to over time

That’s why you keep noticing:
• The same pain
• The same fatigue
• The same symptoms coming back

Not because nothing is working.
Because the pattern hasn’t changed.

Once you see it, you can finally do something about it.
That’s where things shift.

It was never just one big thing.
It was the small things you kept brushing off.
• The tension.
• The fatigue.
• The “I’ll deal with it later.”

Until later turned into:
• Pain that stayed
• Symptoms that kept coming back
• A body that didn’t feel like yours anymore

Not because you did something wrong.
Because no one told you those small signals mattered.

Your body was speaking early.

Insurance-based care 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
• It promotes visits.
• It promotes treatment.
• It promotes reacting once something is already wrong.

So if you’ve experienced:
• Short appointments

That’s not by accident.

Prevention takes:
• Time

If your upper back doesn’t move,
something else will pay for it.

Because when you’re missing mobility in your thorax:
• Your ribs don’t expand well
• Your breathing stays shallow
• Your core can’t fully engage
So your body compensates.

That’s when you start to:
• Neck and shoulder tension
• Low back pain
• Pelvic floor issues

Not because those areas are the problem.
Because they’re picking up the slack.
Stretching the same tight spots won’t fix this.
Massaging them out every week won’t.
You have to restore the movement your body is missing.
That’s where things start to change.

What if your symptoms aren’t the problem?

WE were never taught that symptoms are just messages and so we bounce from try to:
• Fix the pain
• Stop the leaks
• Get rid of the fatigue
WE chase symptom after symptom.
And end up stuck, overwhelmed and frustrated

Symptoms are your body’s way of saying:
Something isn’t working.
So if you only focus on the symptom…
You miss the reason it’s there.

That’s why doing more doesn’t fix it.
A different approach does.
