Because moms deserve support too

The hardest part of the first week home might be how badly you need help—and how much energy it takes to explain what you need.

You’re sore. You haven’t slept. Feeding isn’t going the way you pictured. And every time someone asks how you’re doing, you say “good” because you don’t even know where to start.

You can love your baby completely and still wish someone would walk through the door and take care of you, too. 🤍

That’s why I offer The First Week Home Visit through Nurture Nest Maternal Support.

I come to you with a mother-baby RN skill set and time to listen. We work through feeding, your recovery, newborn questions, and what you need to feel more supported at home—with written next steps afterward.

And when one visit doesn’t feel like enough, my support packages give us more time together. Follow-up visits and ongoing support mean you have someone to turn to as new questions come up.

If you’re expecting, let’s put support on the calendar before you’re exhausted and searching for it. If you’re already home and struggling, you can reach out now.

A little quiet online, a lot of learning and caring in real life. I’m studying toward my CLC, and
I’m bringing you along for the practical part: what to notice during a feed, which questions
deserve follow-up, and how to feel less alone when you get home. If you’re in Newnan or
nearby and want postpartum RN support at home, send me a message about The First
Week Home Visit 🏡

You planned to breastfeed. But did anyone help you plan for the feeding questions that would follow you home?

A 2025 peer-reviewed review highlights the first 14 days after birth as an important window for establishing milk production. Actual or perceived low supply during this time is a frequently reported reason for stopping earlier than intended.

That’s why I bring postpartum RN support into your home 🏡

We watch a feeding together, work through your concerns, check in on your recovery, and organize practical next steps ✨with written guidance afterward ✨

Your feeding goals guide our time together. 🤍

Someone recently asked about purchasing postpartum support for a woman so near and and dear to her heart, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it!

That’s such a thoughtful way to say, “You spend so much time taking care of everyone else. When you get home with your baby, I want someone taking care of you, too.”

That’s what I do through Nurture Nest Maternal Support. I come into the home as a mother-baby RN, listen to what’s actually going on, help with feeding and recovery questions, and make sure Mom understands her options and next steps. No expectation that she already knows what kind of help to ask for, that is what my clinical experience and assessment is intended to reveal.

If someone you love—or someone on your team—is expecting, you can arrange support for her before she’s exhausted and trying to figure it all out.

Most new families don’t necessarily need a bigger village.

They need the right person added to it.

The people who love you may bring dinner, hold the baby, fold the laundry, and reassure you that everything is probably fine.

But they may not know whether a long feeding was effective or simply a long one. They may not recognize when a recovery concern deserves a call to your provider. They may not know which newborn behaviors are expected and which questions should be asked.

That doesn’t make them a bad village.

It means they were never supposed to carry the clinical part alone.

The First Week Home Visit adds an experienced postpartum RN to your village, someone looking at Mom, Baby, feeding, recovery, and the transition home together.

Your family shouldn’t have to guess. Neither should you.

Babies do not feed on an appointment calendar.

A strict appointment time could mean I arrive five minutes after your baby finishes feeding—or during the nap you desperately needed them to take.

As a mother, I understand how stressful it can feel to make a newborn “ready” for an appointment.

As a mother-baby nurse, I also know how valuable it is to observe what is naturally happening rather than forcing a feeding because the clock says it is time.

That’s why I’m proud to offer a flexible arrival window for feeding-focused home visits whenever possible. We communicate as the appointment approaches and work with your baby’s cues—not against them.

It is one small way I can offer something families deserve more of during postpartum:

Care that understands real life.

A mom supporting moms—with the clinical experience to support Mom, Baby, feeding, and recovery.

The discharge papers came home.

The nurse didn’t.

Yet this is when feeding can suddenly feel harder. Recovery becomes less clear. Every newborn question feels urgent, and “call if you need anything”, doesn’t tell a new mother what she should be watching for or whom she should call.

That is the gap I created Nurture Nest Maternal Support to fill.

Hospital-to-home postpartum RN support for:

Mom. Baby. Feeding. Recovery.

Because support doesn’t end at discharge.

Your postpartum experience doesn’t happen in departments.

At home, Mom is recovering while Baby needs to eat. You’re tracking diapers, questioning the latch, managing medications, interpreting newborn behavior, and wondering which concerns are normal.

It is all connected. But most postpartum care is divided between separate appointments.

That is exactly why Nurture Nest Maternal Support exists! 🫶🏼

I provide private, in-home postpartum support as an experienced Mother-Baby RN. During The First Week Home Visit, we look at the whole transition:

• Mom’s recovery
• Baby’s adjustment and care
• Feeding as it is actually happening
• Concerns that deserve provider follow-up
• The questions discharge instructions couldn’t anticipate

When feeding is the concern, I can coordinate an arrival window around Baby’s cues whenever possible, because I understand newborns do not follow appointment calendars.

After the visit, you receive one personalized plan with your recommendations, resources, and next steps together in one place.

This is not another birth class.
It is not a group membership.
It is not a lactation-only appointment.

It is an experienced postpartum RN coming into your home and helping you understand how Mom, Baby, feeding, and recovery all connect.

The first week home is too important to piece together from Google.

The hospital discharged you.

But the feeding questions, recovery concerns, newborn behaviors, and late-night “Is this normal?” moments didn’t wait until your next appointment.

That is the gap I fill.

The First Week Home Visit brings experienced postpartum RN support into your home—helping you understand Mom’s recovery, Baby’s adjustment, feeding, warning signs, and what should happen next.

Afterward, you receive a personalized written plan with recommendations and resources together in one place.

Not another class to remember.
Not another stack of instructions.
Real-life support once you’re actually home.

Discharged doesn’t mean fully supported.
