Common FAQS:
Q:Are there any limitations on what I can drop off?
A: Yes. We currently do NOT accept Sharps waste, things in metal containers, or anything that is pressurized.
Q: Do I have to give my contact information?
A: No. This is anonymous. No questions asked. In fact, you donβt even need to leave your car.
Q: Do I need to mark out my personal information on the RX bottles?
A: No. Once dropped off, the collected drugs are handled only by law enforcement, weighed, and then incinerated.
Q: What if I cannot make it to the drop-off sites on that particular day and time?
A: There is a permanent drop box accessible 24/7 and located outside of Coweta County Jail. Walmart Pharmacy on Highway 34 has a drop box from 8 am to 7 pm. Some CVS pharmacies will take back unwanted medications.
