Stage 2: Low cortisol in perimenopause/menopause, leading to fatigue, mood changes, and lack of motivation.

Stage 3: Advanced adrenal fatigue if the imbalance continues, affecting energy, hormones, and overall well-being.

Ladies, let’s talk about hormones and family history, and why understanding both early can change everything. 🌿✨

I had an incredible Instagram Live with Dr. Melissa Mondala, Family and Integrative Medicine Doctor, where we dove into why so many women miss key insights about their health.

Dr. Melissa reminded us that many mothers and grandmothers never spoke about hot flashes, perimenopause, or menopause, and these “silent stories” can actually hold powerful clues about our own hormonal health. 💛

She explained why it’s so important to know if anyone in your family had early menopause, breast, uterine, or ovarian cancer, frequent falls, or early dementia. These patterns can give us early warning signs and help guide preventive care.

And it’s not just family history, our environment, and experiences matter too. Exposure to toxins, stress, trauma, famine, even immigration or war experiences, can impact our genes and hormones across multiple generations, thanks to epigenetics. 🌎💫
