💉 Meet Allison | Registered Nurse, Boost Hydration

Allison brings over 21 years of nursing experience to the Boost Hydration team and has been an integral part of our clinic for the past eight years. She began her nursing career at St. Joseph Hospital, where she worked in ICU and Labor & Delivery, gaining extensive experience in high-acuity patient care.

Known for her calm presence, clinical expertise, and unwavering reliability, Allison is a nurse our patients instantly trust. She is not only an exceptional clinician, but also an incredible mom, a dedicated teammate, and someone who consistently shows up with heart and professionalism.

Outside of the clinic, Allison enjoys working out, watching football (especially cheering on the Raiders 🖤🏈), and spending quality time with friends and family.

We are so grateful to have Allison as part of the Boost Hydration family — her experience, compassion, and consistency help set the standard for the care we provide every single day.

Meet Jennifer LaBanca, RN — Founder of Boost Hydration.

Jennifer LaBanca is a third-generation Californian, born and raised in Huntington Beach. With over 20 years of nursing experience, Jennifer dedicated a decade to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at St. Joseph Hospital. During her tenure, she developed advanced expertise in a wide range of specialties, including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and roles such as Charge Nurse, Open Heart Nurse, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) Nurse, Hypothermia Nurse, Sepsis Nurse, Renal Transplant Nurse and Neuro ICU.

While working full-time at St. Joseph Hospital, Jennifer expanded her skills into aesthetic nursing. She became certified in advanced procedures such as IPL, CO2 laser treatments, laser tattoo removal, and Allergan cosmetic injections, including Botox and dermal fillers.

At Boost Hydration, Jennifer combines her extensive medical background with her passion for health and wellness. She is committed to educating and empowering the community to adopt healthier lifestyles. As a former two-time Nationally Qualified NPC bikini competitor, she placed first in her class in 2021 and earned second place at USA Nationals in 2023. Her firsthand experience in fitness and nutrition further enhances her practice.

Beyond her professional achievements, Jennifer is a devoted mother who balances her career with her family life. She is passionate about promoting health and wellness both professionally and personally. In addition to her work in healthcare and fitness, Jennifer is an international ambassador for OC Fashion Week and was featured on the cover of Glamour Magazine in 2025. She integrates her expertise in nutrition, fitness, IV hydration, and peptides to empower clients to live healthier, more vibrant lives.

Meet Dr. Doonan — our Medical Director and the clinical backbone of Boost Hydration.

Dr. Bryan Doonan, MD

Dr. Bryan Doonan is a highly accomplished physician with a background in biochemistry, sports medicine, and aesthetics. Born in New Jersey and raised in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Doonan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California San Diego (UCSD). He was awarded a full scholarship to St. Louis University School of Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.

After completing his medical school training, Dr. Doonan returned to California to complete his internship and residency at the University of California Irvine (UCI), followed by a fellowship in sports medicine at Kramer Orthopedics. Over his 22-year career as a licensed and practicing M.D., he has become a prominent figure in the medical community.

Dr. Doonan serves as the medical director and owner of three urgent care facilities and two aesthetic practices in Southern California. He is also the Medical Doctor for the World Surf League (WSL), combining his passion for medicine with his lifelong love of surfing. As a former professional surfer and 1992 National Surfing Champion, he brings firsthand experience to his understanding of sports-related injuries.

Recognizing the diverse health benefits of IV hydration, Dr. Doonan integrated it into his practice to support recovery, injury prevention, and overall well-being. Today, he proudly serves as the owner and medical director of Boost Hydration, where he continues to promote wellness through innovative treatments.
