A Note from Jessica:
Picking a favorite bible verse is kind of like picking a favorite child- for the most part- I just like them all! However, ever since I was in jr high, I have especially loved Ecclesiastes 3:1. There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.
This verse applies to life in general as well as to business! I started the clinic in 2022 with my âyesâ to the Lord, a supportive husband, an office space, a healthy dose of social anxiety, a passion for functional medicine, and absolutely no business experience.
Jan 2022 to Fall 2024 was the startup phase. Income wasnât great, the learning curve was steep, and so many people were willing to give me a chance- for which I am so grateful!
Due to high demand and after much prayerful consideration, we moved locations in Fall 2024. We hired some additional providers and staff and really focused on growth from Fall 2024 to Spring 2026. I will be the first to admit- I made A LOT of mistakes. Demand and growth greatly outpaced capacity and systems, multiple unexpected events and stressors occurred in my personal life, and I found that administration is not my gifting! It was quite chaotic, to say the least.
So many of you have been patient and understanding throughout this- and I am very grateful for your prayers and support.
By God's grace, we are now in a season of rebuilding. I have taken all that I have learned the past 5 years and we have simplified, improved our focus, and are now rebuilding and implementing better systems and processes. I am very excited that we have a new team member joining us next week that does have the gift of administration as well as many others- more info coming soon!
We are in the process of opening to a limited number of new clients starting this Fall (prioritizing those on our waitlist first).
As part of our simplification- we are no longer accepting Medicare. We are currently taking BCBS and considering extension of BCBS coverage; we will have more info on that soon. We can accept HSA/FSA and provide a superbill for you to self submit to insurance. Our care path options include pay per visit with an annual fee, concierge care, and RN Health Coach supported care including group and individual visits.
New client visits will include a full functional lab panel and a written plan of care- so you'll leave with a clear understanding of your health and a personalized plan, regardless of whether you decide to continue your care with us.
Our community lab will be opening later this year for anyone who wants access to low cost labs. Stay tuned!
