🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: THE DYNAMIC DUO! 🌟

Last week, we had the honor of recognizing two truly amazing nurses, Susan Vitiello, RN, and Lauren Wiley LPN, as Empower’s 2026 Residential Employees of the Year! 🎉💜

Here at Empower, we affectionately call Susan and Lauren our “Dynamic Duo,” and they have certainly earned that title! Together, they make an incredible team, bringing knowledge, dedication, compassion, and a determination to always do what is best for the people we support.

Their teamwork and commitment to excellence have helped their site achieve deficiency-free surveys, an accomplishment that speaks volumes about the care and pride they bring to their work every day.

Susan and Lauren truly are one of a kind, and Empower is incredibly proud and grateful to have them as part of our team.

💙 Celebrating Our Incredible Day Hab DSPs! 💙

As we end DSP Appreciation week, we want to shine a spotlight on the amazing Direct Support Professionals who make a BIG difference in the lives of the people we support every single day.

A special thank you to Jodi Bevilacqua, who showed her appreciation in a truly heartfelt way by preparing lunch for all of the Direct Care Staff in her division, hand-writing personalized cards for each DSP, and giving every staff member a bag of Lifesavers because, as Jodi shared, that’s exactly what they are. ❤️

While this may have seemed like a small gesture, it was filled with gratitude, love, and recognition for the hard work, dedication, compassion, and commitment our DSPs bring to their roles every day. The people we support are fortunate to have such caring professionals in their lives.

Thank you, Jodi, for taking the time to recognize your team, and thank you to all of our Day Hab DSPs for the incredible impact you make. Your kindness, patience, and dedication do not go unnoticed.

Happy Direct Support Professional Appreciation Week! - Day 4

Today, Empower was proud to celebrate our incredible DSPs with a special taco lunch delivered to all 10 of our sites! Our Direct Support Professionals are the heart of our agency, and this was just a small way to show our gratitude for everything they do.

A special thank you to our friends Josh Allen and Kevin for helping us spread some appreciation and make the day even more memorable!

To all of Empower’s DSPs: thank you for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to the individuals and families we serve every day. Your hard work, patience, and kindness help make Empower the best it can be.

Simply put, without our DSPs, Empower would not be what it is today. We are grateful for each and every one of you and the difference you make in the lives of others.
