She didn’t book a past-life hypnosis session because she wanted to know if she’d been Cleopatra.
She booked because she was tired.
Not the kind of tired a weekend away fixes.
The kind where you look at your life and think,
Why does this keep happening to me?
Different people.
Different circumstances.
Same feeling.
She was 47.
Successful enough that everyone assumed she had things together.
She worked.
She took care of people.
She remembered birthdays.
She checked on everyone else.
She was the person people called when their life fell apart.
But somehow, when she needed someone?
She usually found herself handling that alone.
Again.
And again.
And again.
She told me during our conversation before hypnosis,
“I know this sounds ridiculous, but I feel like I've been doing this forever.”
I wrote that sentence down.
Because sometimes people say something casually that turns out to be the entire reason they came.
I've been doing this forever.
She wasn't particularly interested in past lives.
That surprised me.
She wasn't coming because she wanted to find out whether she'd been famous.
She didn't care if she'd lived in Egypt.
She wasn't hoping to meet a king.
She wanted to understand one thing:
Why do I always feel responsible for everybody?
Why did asking for help make her uncomfortable?
Why could she give endlessly but feel almost guilty receiving?
Why did she keep choosing relationships where she became the strong one?
Why did slowing down feel unsafe?
Those were her questions.
Then we began.
She relaxed into the chair.
We talked.
I guided her deeper.
And eventually I asked her to notice what was beneath her feet.
There was a long pause.
Then she said,
“Dirt.”
I asked what she noticed about herself.
Another pause.
“My feet are bare.”
She began describing a place she didn't consciously recognize.
Simple houses.
Fields.
A long dress.
Her hands looked older than she expected.
She wasn't wealthy.
She wasn't royalty.
She wasn't anyone history would remember.
She was a woman caring for a family.
Then she noticed something else.
There were children.
Several of them.
And a man who was gone for long stretches of time.
She was responsible for everything.
Food.
Home.
Children.
Animals.
Illness.
Survival.
She kept saying,
“There isn't anyone else.”
At one point she became emotional.
Not hysterical.
Just tears slowly running down the sides of her face.
I asked what she was feeling.
She said,
“If I stop, everything falls apart.”
There it was.
Not Cleopatra.
Not Atlantis.
Not some dramatic revelation about being burned at the stake.
Just one belief.
If I stop, everything falls apart.
A belief that sounded remarkably familiar.
She followed that life farther.
She saw herself older.
Children grown.
Home quiet.
The crisis had passed.
Except she didn't know how to stop being the person who carried everything.
Even when no one needed her to anymore.
She had spent so long surviving that survival had become her identity.
And near the end of that experience, she said something I still think about.
“I thought being needed meant I was loved.”
Then she went quiet.
A very long quiet.
When she opened her eyes later, she didn't sit up immediately.
She just stared at the ceiling.
Finally she said,
“Wow.”
Then:
“I don't even know whether I believe that was literally another lifetime.”
I told her she didn't have to decide.
Because that's something I think people misunderstand about past-life hypnosis.
You don't have to walk out saying,
THIS ABSOLUTELY HAPPENED IN 1742.
Maybe you experience it as a past life.
Maybe your subconscious communicates through imagery.
Maybe it's symbolic.
Maybe it feels completely real.
The question that mattered to her wasn't:
Can I prove who that woman was?
It was:
Why did that story feel so familiar?
She came into the session asking why she couldn't stop carrying everyone.
And somewhere inside that experience, she saw the belief underneath it:
If I don't hold everything together, something bad will happen.
And underneath that:
If I'm not needed, maybe I'm not valuable.
That was the part that changed things.
Not overnight.
She didn't leave my office and suddenly become a different human being.
She went home.
Made dinner.
Answered texts.
Went back to work.
Life continued.
But then small things started happening.
Her adult daughter called with a problem.
She listened.
But instead of immediately fixing it, she asked,
“What do you think you want to do?”
Her daughter figured it out.
Nothing fell apart.
A friend asked her to take care of something she really didn't have time for.
Her automatic response was almost:
“Sure.”
She stopped.
And said,
“I can't this week.”
The friendship survived.
Nothing fell apart.
Then one Saturday morning she realized she had absolutely nowhere she needed to be.
Normally she would have filled the day.
Laundry.
Errands.
Helping somebody.
Cleaning something that wasn't actually dirty.
Instead, she made coffee.
Sat outside.
And did nothing for almost an hour.
She told me later that the strangest emotion came up.
Guilt.
Then she remembered the woman from the session.
Bare feet.
Dirt beneath them.
A household that depended on her for survival.
If I stop, everything falls apart.
And she thought,
That isn't my life anymore.
So she stayed in the chair.
Drank her coffee.
The world kept turning.
Nothing fell apart.
A few weeks later she noticed something else.
People were starting to show up differently around her.
Not because they had all magically changed.
Because she had stopped automatically occupying the role she'd always occupied.
The rescuer.
The fixer.
The one who didn't need anything.
For the first time, she was leaving room for somebody else to carry something.
And some people stepped into that space.
Some didn't.
That taught her something too.
This is why people become curious about past-life hypnosis.
Sometimes it is curiosity.
Who was I?
Where did I live?
Have I known the people in my life before?
Those are fascinating questions.
But often underneath them is something much more human.
Why am I so afraid of this?
Why does this relationship feel so familiar?
Why does this pattern keep repeating?
Why do I feel responsible for everyone?
Why have I always felt like I don't belong?
Why am I drawn to a place I've never visited?
Why do I know what I need to change but still can't seem to change it?
You may experience a lifetime.
You may experience symbols.
You may receive memories, emotions, insights, or perspectives you weren't expecting.
And sometimes the most important part isn't discovering who you might have been.
It's realizing:
You don't have to keep living today by rules you learned somewhere else.
That woman didn't need hypnosis to become capable.
She already was.
She needed an experience that allowed her to see the story she'd been unconsciously carrying.
And once she could see it?
She could finally decide whether she still wanted to live by it.
That's the part of this work I love.
Not proving who you were.
Helping you understand who you are now.
If you've ever wondered why a pattern, fear, relationship, feeling, or inner knowing seems deeper than the circumstances of this lifetime can explain, a QHHT session gives you several hours to explore those questions in a completely different way.
Maybe you meet another version of yourself.
Maybe you meet the deepest part of yourself.
Maybe those are closer to the same thing than we realize.

What would you ask the deepest part of yourself… if you knew you could really listen?

Maybe you’d ask why the same patterns keep showing up.

Why one relationship affected you so deeply.

Why you feel pulled toward a certain place, path, or purpose.

Why you keep feeling like there is something more.

Or maybe your question is simply:

What am I not seeing yet?

These are the kinds of questions people often bring into a QHHTÂŽ session.

QHHT is a private, in-person hypnosis experience that gives you time to step away from the noise of everyday life, explore your story, and become curious about what may be waiting beneath the surface.

You don’t have to know exactly what you believe.

You don’t have to be “good” at hypnosis.
You don’t have to know what will come up.
You can simply come with curiosity.

Me: “I’m just here to relax.”
Reiki: “Perfect… now let’s look at everything you’ve been carrying.” 😅🤍

Sometimes we come into a Reiki session thinking we just need an hour to rest.

And honestly, sometimes that is exactly what happens.

But other times, slowing down creates enough quiet for us to notice what we’ve been pushing aside — stress, emotions, old patterns, tension, grief, or simply the weight of trying to hold everything together.

Reiki isn’t about forcing anything to happen. For me, it’s about creating a calm, supportive space where your nervous system can settle, your mind can soften, and you can reconnect with yourself without having to perform, explain, or fix anything in the moment.

Sometimes the session feels deeply peaceful.

Sometimes it feels emotional.

Sometimes you simply leave feeling lighter and more grounded.

And sometimes you realize you were a lot more tired than you thought. 🤍

I offer private Reiki sessions from my office in Noblesville, Indiana, along with IETÂŽ and QHHTÂŽ for those who feel called to explore a little deeper.

Maybe you don’t need to “hold it together” for one more hour. Maybe you just need a place to put it down.

Have you been curious about learning Reiki for yourself? ✨

I offer in-person Reiki Level 1 & Level 2 training in Noblesville, with both private classes and small group classes available.

Reiki Level 1 is a beautiful place to begin if you want to learn how to use Reiki for your own self-care, relaxation, grounding, and personal practice.

Level 2 takes the practice deeper and introduces additional techniques you can use for yourself and, if you choose, with others.

You do not have to already consider yourself “energy sensitive” or know anything about Reiki before you begin. You simply need curiosity and a willingness to learn.

Private training is wonderful if you want a more personalized experience and extra one-on-one time. Group classes are a beautiful way to learn alongside others, practice together, and share the experience.

Healing is not linear. 💜
Some days you’ll feel strong, clear, and completely different from the person you used to be. Then something happens—a memory, a conversation, a familiar trigger—and suddenly an old feeling shows up again.
That doesn’t mean you’ve gone backward.
Healing often looks like revisiting the same places with more awareness, stronger boundaries, deeper compassion, and new tools than you had before.
You’re allowed to have hard days and still be healing. You’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to need support again.
✨ Progress isn’t never being triggered again. Sometimes progress is realizing, “I know how to care for myself differently this time.”

Becoming an Integrated Energy TherapyÂŽ Master Instructor in 2020 has been one of the most rewarding parts of this work for me.

There’s something really special about watching someone come into class curious, maybe a little unsure, and then leave with a skill they can actually use for themselves and, if they choose, bring into the work they already do.

Over the years, I’ve had students use IET as part of their own personal healing and self-care, while others have gone on to weave it into their businesses and the way they support their own clients.

And that part means so much to me.
Teaching isn’t just about passing along information. It’s about helping someone feel confident enough to trust themselves, practice what they’ve learned, and make it their own.

This is my newest student, Donna Cook, and I’m so excited to welcome her into this next chapter of her journey. 🤍

Watching each student grow reminds me why I chose to become an instructor in the first place.

Sometimes the work we learn for ourselves becomes something that reaches far beyond us.

If nobody needed you today... what would you do?
Not your boss.
Not your spouse.
Not your children.
Not your clients.
Not your phone.
Just you.
Would you sleep in?
Take a walk in the woods?
Read a book?
Create something?
Journal?
Sit quietly with a cup of tea?
So many of us have become experts at caring for everyone else that we’ve forgotten how to answer one simple question:
“What do I need?”
Self-care isn’t selfish.
It’s how we refill the cup we so generously pour into others.
Maybe today you can’t take the whole day.
But perhaps you can give yourself ten minutes.
Ten minutes to breathe.
To be still.
To listen.
To remember that you matter, too.
💜 So... if nobody needed you today, what would you choose to do?

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is become quiet enough to listen differently.
A QHHTÂŽ session gives you several uninterrupted hours to step away from everyday noise, share your story, explore your questions, and experience hypnosis in a private, supportive setting.
Every session unfolds differently. You don’t need to know what you’re going to experience before you arrive—and you don’t have to “perform” hypnosis a certain way.
You can simply come curious.
