Every child deserves a voice, and Arsen is discovering his.

In speech therapy with Anya, the MTU team's speech therapist in Ukraine, Arsen practices sounds, works on his articulation, and builds confidence through playful activities, imitation exercises, and fun learning materials. Each session mixes speech practice with games that also support fine motor skills, so learning stays enjoyable.

With patience, encouragement, and consistent support, Arsen is making real progress and finding the joy of communicating with others.

Every child deserves the opportunity to be born, loved, and given hope for the future.

Through our Pregnancy Ministry, the MTU team in Ukraine walks alongside women facing unplanned pregnancies with counseling, practical help, and the hope found in Christ. Many moms come to us feeling afraid and alone. By standing with them, we get to help them choose life for their babies.

Today, those children are growing, learning, laughing, and thriving. They are living reminders that one loving conversation and one faithful yes can change a life forever.

These families keep receiving care through parenting support, family events, and children's activities, so the whole family is strengthened and introduced to the love of Jesus.

One of the sweetest moments after summer camp was watching families choose to stay connected.

The MTU team in Ukraine recently hosted a gathering for moms and children at a church in Zhytomyr. The kids were excited to play together again, while the moms caught up, shared how life has been since camp, and encouraged one another. We prayed together and were reminded that the love and community they found at camp does not end when the week is over.

Follow up gatherings like this help families stay connected to a local church and keep growing in friendship and faith. For many of these moms, it is a place where they feel welcomed, understood, and encouraged.

Zhytomyr is without power right now. A Russian strike on a power station has left the city without lights, water, and electricity. The MTU team in Ukraine is asking for your prayers for protection and that systems would be running again soon.

Today, an air raid alert sounded in Zhytomyr while the MTU team in Ukraine hosted a Day of Thanksgiving for parents. Outside, there was a real threat. Inside, parents gathered and children kept learning with MTU specialists.

The Gospel cannot be stopped by sirens, darkness, or fear. Please pray for Ukraine, for protection over these families, and for the parents and children who keep coming through the doors.

This is the reality the MTU team in Ukraine lives with. When the air raid sirens go off, work does not stop. It just moves underground. Therapy sessions, counseling, care for moms and kids with nowhere else safe to go, all of it continues from a bomb shelter until the all clear sounds. It is a stark reminder of what “showing up” actually means for the families we serve every single day. Your prayers and support carry real weight in moments like these.

Mission to Ukraine recently hosted a special seminar dedicated to celebrating and supporting mothers raising children with disabilities. The day was created to provide spiritual encouragement, practical guidance, and a safe space where these mothers could feel valued and understood. Through teaching, conversation, and fellowship, participants received tools and encouragement for the everyday challenges they face.
