Senior Spotlight: Najee Smothers, Class of 2026 🔥

Najee has been part of the BlazeSports family for the past 8 years, making an impact both on and off the court through basketball, tennis, and track and field. Throughout his time with BlazeSports, Najee has grown into a strong leader, learning the value of patience, perseverance, and leading as both an athlete and teammate.

One of Najee’s proudest accomplishments is winning a silver medal for Team USA Handball at just 17 years old. Najee plans to attend Southwest Minnesota State University, where he will continue his wheelchair basketball career.

One of Najee’s favorite Blaze memories was hitting a half-court buzzer be**er at the beginning of his senior year, a moment filled with excitement that perfectly captures his passion for the game. Najee can be described as athletic, passionate, and a natural leader, bringing energy and determination to everything he does on the court.

We are incredibly proud of Najee and cannot wait to see all he accomplishes as he continues to chase his goals and inspire others along the way. Go Mustangs!

Senior Spotlight: Hannah Gladney, Class of 2026 🔥

For the past five years, Hannah has been a shining member of the BlazeSports family. From the basketball court to our Youth Athlete Council, she has poured her heart into every opportunity, growing not only as an athlete but also as a leader and teammate.

One of Hannah’s proudest accomplishments is earning the incredible opportunity to play collegiate wheelchair basketball at the University of Arizona. This achievement reflects her dedication, hard work, and unstoppable spirit. As she looks toward the future, she is focused on preparing for college and the next chapter ahead, carrying the lessons BlazeSports has taught her along the way.

One of Hannah’s favorite Blaze memories is touring the Atlanta Hawks facility with one of the players, a moment that perfectly captures her love for the game. Describing herself as competitive, creative, and funny, Hannah’s energy and personality light up every room and inspire those around her.

We are incredibly proud of Hannah and cannot wait to watch her continue chasing her dreams and making her mark in college, on the court, and in life. 🐾
