BrainVive started with our son. But you may see yourself in our story.

At 7, he couldn’t read. We’d tried tutors and specialized programs, yet learning remained a struggle—and we were watching his confidence slip away.

Then a physician encouraged us to look at how his brain was taking in and processing the world around him.

That led us to sensory training. On the drive home from the program, he started sounding out highway signs. In the months that followed, we saw changes in his reading, his ability to handle emotions, and how he moved on the baseball field.

Those experiences became the reason we opened BrainVive.

Maybe your story sounds like ours. A child working so hard to learn. Big emotions. Difficulty focusing. The feeling that something is getting in the way of what you know they’re capable of.

Or maybe you’re here for yourself.

Anxiety that takes up too much space. Feeling overwhelmed by everyday demands. Wanting clearer thinking, steadier focus, or more capacity to handle pressure.

Maybe you’re already doing well—and you’re curious how much further you could go. At work. In your sport. In the things you love.

There’s room for that story here, too.

Today, we work with kids and adults through a 30-day program focused on training the visual, auditory, and vestibular systems—how we take in sight, sound, and movement, and how those systems work together. for For some it is night and day and for others, it’s incremental changes over time that build momentum. We always see an impact.

Our son’s progress made us curious about what else was possible. That same curiosity is at the heart of BrainVive: exploring what greater development and integration could mean for the way you learn, feel, move, and perform.

Swipe to read how we began. If you recognize yourself or your child along the way, we’d love to hear your story.

You’ve heard of training your muscles. What about the sensory systems you rely on all day? 👀

This moving table usually gets the first question. The next is: “Who comes to BrainVive?”

Kids facing learning and sensory challenges. Adults looking for less anxiety and greater mental clarity. Athletes interested in coordination and an edge on their visual timing.

Different goals bring people through our doors.

Our 30-day program combines visual, auditory, and vestibular training, starting with an evaluation.

You know that kid who covers their ears at the gymnasium?

Some of us learn to control that reaction. We just learn it’s not socially acceptable so we cope with it.

In a classroom, that same overwhelm looks like a child who can’t focus, who seems “distracted,” or who melts down by 10am and nobody connects it back to how their brain is processing sound.

In adults, it looks different, but it’s the same root issue. A loud restaurant, a busy boardroom, or a day spent moving from environment to environment, and suddenly you’re completely drained and overly stimulated.

In both cases, hearing itself is usually sensitive and imbalanced in how the ears and brain are processing sound. And in many cases the brain never learned how to filter sound properly.

Balanced sound processing isn’t just about volume. It’s about the brain knowing what to focus on and what to let go. Without that, a busy room genuinely feels chaotic, every sound gets treated like it matters, so filtering out the unimportant stuff doesn’t happen. That’s what shows up as a kid who can’t attend to what’s important.

That’s not a behavior problem. That’s not “too sensitive.” It’s a sensory processing imbalance in kids and adults and it’s trainable. 🧠

If this sounds like you or your child: we can actually map your auditory profile and show you exactly where your sensitivities are and what your patterns mean for your processing and lived experience.

“Maybe it’s just my ADHD, but...”

You can’t focus in loud rooms. “Just pay attention” has never once worked. You’ve spent years thinking that was a willpower problem and now you’re watching your child experience something similar.

Turns out it might be an auditory system that never learned to filter noise from signal. When your brain can’t separate a voice from everything else happening in the room, a normal classroom or busy restaurant can feel like standing in the middle of a concert.

That’s not a focus problem. That’s a processing problem — and it shows up in more places than just noisy rooms:

• Following one- and two-step directions
• Retaining auditory information
• Mood
• Attentiveness
• Behavior and mood, or anxiety

All of it can be impacted by how efficiently the brain is processing what it hears. So the way the brain processes sound can genuinely exacerbate ADHD symptoms, not because of a willpower gap, but because of how the auditory system is (or isn’t) filtering and holding onto sound.

The good news: it’s retrainable.

That’s exactly the kind of foundational system BrainVive retrains. 🧠

You’re not broken. You’ve likely just been treating the downstream symptoms instead of the upstream cause.

Medication manages symptoms and provides relief. Therapy builds healthy coping strategies. Tutoring works over and over around the problem. All of it is real, valuable work, but none of it retrains how the brain actually perceives and processes information at the source.

That’s the piece BrainVive was built to address.

Three systems. Running in the background of nearly everything.

Most people have only ever heard of them in the context of dizziness or eyesight, an ear infection or hearing loss. But here’s what they’re actually responsible for 👇

Vestibular system
• Balance and coordination
• Sitting still without needing to fidget or move
• Following multi-step directions
• Impulse control
• Feeling calm instead of “on edge”
• Knowing where your body is in space (not bumping into everything)
• Reading (how our eyes track across a page 👀)
• Feeling safe in our body

Visual system
• Tracking words across a page while reading, and interpreting letters
• Copying from a board without losing your place
• Handwriting and spacing on paper
• Catching a ball, or judging distance, driving, parking
• Filtering visual clutter in a busy room
• Staying focused without getting overstimulated

Auditory system
• Following directions the first time they’re given
• Filtering a teacher’s voice out from background noise
• Reading fluency and comprehension
• Remembering what was just said
• Staying regulated in loud environments (gym, movies)
• Verbal recall and articulating thoughts clearly
• Emotional responses

None of this is about intelligence, effort, or discipline. It’s about whether these three systems are integrated and working together.

That’s what BrainVive retrains. 🧠

PANS/PANDAS. Anxiety. ADHD. Learning challenges. Different labels — all can be impacted by this specialized training!

I know what you’re thinking: how could specialized vestibular, auditory, and visual input possibly change any of that?

It’s incredible — but it makes sense once you understand why it works.

Your child’s brain doesn’t just process sensory input. It uses it to decide, moment to moment, whether the world is safe. When that system gets stuck in overdrive, it doesn’t matter how many strategies you try — meltdowns, shutdowns, the inability to focus, the racing worry that won’t turn off… they’re not behavior problems. They’re a nervous system still bracing for a threat that’s already passed.

When we retrain how the brain perceives sensory signals, we’re not managing symptoms. We’re addressing the pattern underneath them — and that’s where the real shifts happen.

This is the missing piece so many families have been searching for.

You know your child. And we know what can help them.

PANS/PANDAS doesn’t just trigger an infection response — it hijacks the vestibular, visual, and auditory systems that regulate mood, focus, and behavior. Medication, homeopathy, supplements, IVIG, can calm the trigger and infection, and help the immune system to modulate properly. But most families are never told the nervous system still needs to be retrained after the attack — and often, real progress stalls until that piece is addressed.

That’s a missing piece.

Our 12-Day In-Person NeuroRehab Protocol™ works directly with the systems PANS/PANDAS disrupts — twice a day, every single day, including weekends — because a nervous system under attack doesn’t get days off, so neither do we. And every protocol is individualized to your child’s specific presentation, not a one-size-fits-all program.

The result: your child’s brain and body finding its way back to regulation, not just symptom suppression.

You’re not imagining the shift. And you’re not out of options.

In fact, many children (and adults) will not be able to make progress in their protocol until they’re nervous system is given direct support and training.

She commutes into NYC. Her husband flies for a major airline. She’s raising a toddler while working for one of the most recognizable brands in the world.

If anyone had an excuse to run on empty, it’s her.

But she found herself maxed out — snapping at things that didn’t used to bother her, feeling scattered, running on fumes even when nothing was technically “wrong.”

That’s when she came to BrainVive.

Weeks later, she’s describing herself differently: calmer. More regulated. More capacity to actually be present — for her toddler, her husband, her career, herself.

This isn’t a mom who had time to spare. She made it work because she felt the shift.

If a high-performing, high-capacity mom juggling this much needed more regulation and more capacity — you’re allowed to need it too.
