Last week, Normal HALO 2-Year students got to learn about fire safety with the Normal Fire Department. Students collaborated to find fire hazards in a model home, then they were able to practice real safety strategies in the Survive Alive house. Thank you, Normal Fire Department, for all the ways you keep our community and our people safe!

Last week our Normal 2-Year HALO students took a trip to Miller Park Zoo!! We got to meet a few new creatures up close and personal! We had great weather and the students got to make some lasting memories! Tell us students, what was your favorite part of our zoo trip? 🐊🦩🐍🦦🦥

HALO students at Heartland Community College Pontiac went to the U of I Extension-Livingston, McLean, Woodford Counties to learn about the classes and programs offered there. They also visited Futures Unlimited, Inc to learn about community programs and employment opportunities.
