From representing Special Olympics Oklahoma at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games to being a RUF/NEK Lil’ Sis at the University of Oklahoma, Addie is showing what’s possible when you chase your dreams.

Now, she’s using her voice and social media platform to be a role model for others in the Down syndrome community to dream big and go for it! 🌟

Today we’re proud to celebrate National Inclusive Postsecondary Education (IPSE) Day and the designation of May 1 as IPSE Day in Oklahoma. IPSE creates transformative opportunities for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities to pursue college, build independence, and prepare for meaningful careers.

We’re honored that Sooner Works is part of Oklahoma’s growing IPSE movement alongside the NSU RiverHawks Scholar Program and OSU Opportunity Orange Scholars.

Today we celebrate access, belonging, and what’s possible when higher education is inclusive for all.
