If you want a really great tattoo, here’s what you do:
-Visit the shop and describe to me what you want tattooed on you. Pictures help, just know that I’m not going to trace someone else’s tattoo and put it on you; that’s in poor taste and not something I’m willing to do.
Instead, I’ll draw a custom design just for you, that nobody else will ever have. Unless you put it on Pinterest. Then someone else will get it traced and tattooed on them next week.
-Make an appointment for later in the week. That allows me to have ample time to design a really great tattoo for you.
Making an appointment means putting down a deposit of roughly 50% of the total price of the tattoo. This isn’t a drawing fee; I don’t charge money to draw your design. This deposit is to ensure you come in on the date scheduled. If you don’t show, you lose the deposit.
-On the day of your appointment, be on time, sober, clean, and ready to rock. If you wanna bring a friend that’s fine, but please don’t bring your whole posse. It’s distracting and I want to focus on giving you the best tattoo I possibly can. I ask that you not bring your children.
-Its preferred that you pay in cash for your tattoo. Payment in full is required before services will be rendered.
-Tipping isn’t necessary. A lot of tattoo shops have signs up begging for tips. If I expected tips I’d be waiting tables. Don’t get me wrong- I never turn down a tip and it’s always appreciated. But I don’t just automatically expect it.
IF YOU FOLLOW THESE SUGGESTIONS you’ll get my very best tattooing! You’ll also become one of my favorite customers and next time I see you I’ll remember how cool you were and I’ll hook you up with lots of extras for no extra money.
