🩸 TRUE CRIME MUST-WATCH

If you haven’t watched Sins of Our Mother yet…add this one to your list. 👀

What starts with two missing children turns into a story involving doomsday beliefs, suspicious deaths, a whirlwind romance, and a mother at the center of it all.

This is one of those cases where every new detail somehow makes the story even more disturbing. Just when you think, surely it can’t get any crazier than this…

it does. 😳

🎃🔪 SPOOKY SEASON TRUE CRIME

Since Halloween is getting closer and we’re officially entering my favorite time of year, I thought I’d share another one of my favorite true crime series — The Real Murders on Elm Street. 🩸

Each episode covers a different REAL murder that happened on an Elm Street somewhere in America.

Different towns. Different victims. Different killers.

The only thing connecting them?

🏚️ Elm Street.

It’s creepy, disturbing, and basically the perfect true crime binge for spooky season. 👀🎃

📺 The Real Murders on Elm Street
🔪 Available on HBO Max

Because apparently Elm Street didn’t need Freddy Krueger to be terrifying. 😳

⚖️ THE LINDSAY CLANCY TRIAL | MY THOUGHTS SO FAR ⚖️

I just started watching the trial from the very beginning, and I already have some pretty strong feelings about this case.

🧠 I absolutely believe mental health is serious and can play a major role in murder cases. I also believe Lindsay may have genuinely been struggling with mental health issues before this happened.

BUT…based on everything I’ve heard so far about her actions and what happened the day she killed her three children, I’m having a really hard time believing she didn’t understand what she was doing.

At this point, I believe she was responsible for her actions and knew what she was doing. To me, it feels like her mental health struggles are being used as an explanation or possibly an excuse for something absolutely horrific.

👀 I’m only at the beginning of the trial, though, so my opinion could definitely change as I hear more evidence. I’m keeping an open mind while I watch.

⚖️ Right now? I’m just not convinced she wasn’t aware of her actions.

💭 What do you think? Do you believe her mental state prevented her from understanding what she was doing, or do you believe she knew exactly what she was doing?

🧠🔪 TRUE CRIME FACT

Ever wonder why investigators try to separate witnesses before questioning them? 👀

Because our memories are surprisingly easy to influence.

When witnesses talk to each other, they can unintentionally pick up details from someone else’s story and later remember those details as if they actually saw them themselves. 😳

🧠 It’s called the misinformation effect.

So two witnesses telling the exact same story doesn’t necessarily mean that’s exactly what happened.

The creepiest part?

⚠️ Your brain can confidently remember something that never happened.

🧠 24 personalities. One man. One case that left everyone questioning what was real.

I’m watching Monsters Inside: The 24 Faces of Billy Milligan, and this is one of those true crime stories that gets more bizarre the deeper you go. 🕵️‍♀️🖤

After Billy Milligan was arrested in the 1970s, psychiatrists concluded that he had multiple distinct personalities, and his mental state became central to his criminal defense. 🧠⚖️

But that’s what makes this case so fascinating… what do you actually believe? 🤔

Was Billy truly living with multiple personalities and unaware of what some of them were doing? Was he an incredibly convincing manipulator? 🎭 Or is the truth somewhere in between?

The interviews, conflicting stories, and unanswered questions make this one of those documentaries where you’ll probably change your mind more than once. 🧩😳

If you’ve watched it, I NEED to know do you believe Billy Milligan, or do you think he fooled everyone? 👀👇

True crime is always darkest when the truth isn’t clear. 🔍

🔪 CASE YOU MAY NOT KNOW: THE CIRCLEVILLE LETTERS

Imagine opening your mailbox and finding an anonymous letter from someone who seems to know everything about you.

That’s what began happening in Circleville, Ohio, in the 1970s.

Residents started receiving mysterious letters exposing secrets, making accusations, and even threatening them. One woman, Mary Gillispie, became a particular target.

Then things got even stranger.

Mary’s husband received a mysterious phone call, left home angry with a gun…and was later found dead after crashing his truck.

Eventually, a man was convicted in connection with the case and sent to prison.

But there was one HUGE problem…

The letters reportedly kept coming. 😳

Decades later, questions still remain about who was really behind the Circleville letters.

📂 So what do you think — was the right person caught, or was someone else behind it all? 👀

🩸 A night that should have been completely ordinary became a nightmare.

Four college students. One house. A brutal crime that left an entire country asking the same question: Who could have done this and why?

The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare takes you back inside the case with firsthand accounts and never-before-seen bodycam footage.

Even if you think you know this story, there’s more to it. 👀

🚨TRUE CRIME MUST-WATCH🚨

Out of ALL the true crime documentaries I’ve watched, Maternal Instinct is still one of the most bizarre.

I watched this a while ago and I still think about this case all the time. The story is so horrific, twisted, and unbelievable that you almost can’t wrap your head around the fact that it actually happened.

This one genuinely disturbed me. 😳

⚠️ Warning: This case is extremely disturbing.

A pastor’s wife is dead. But this story is about SO much more than how she died.

The marriage. The church. The allegations. The things happening behind closed doors…

Death of the Pastor’s Wife had me questioning EVERYTHING. 👀
