As we head into our busy season, Townbank Tranquility Spa will be implementing an updated booking and cancellation policy to better serve our clients and protect the time we reserve for each appointment.
Effective immediately, a credit card will be required to reserve all appointments.
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Single appointments require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
- Multiple appointments and group bookings require 48–72 hours' notice.
As a small business, every appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Unlike larger companies, our resources, staff time, and availability are personalized and limited.
When an appointment is missed without notice, that time cannot always be filled, and it directly impacts our ability to serve other clients as well as support our families, employees, and business operations.
We understand that life happens. Emergencies, illnesses, and unexpected situations occur, and we have always tried to be accommodating when clients communicate with us. We greatly appreciate those who reach out when plans change.
However, we have experienced a significant increase in no-call, no-show appointments despite appointment reminders being sent via email and text. In many cases, follow-up calls and messages go unanswered.
Unfortunately, this has created an unsustainable situation for our business.
Moving forward, clients who miss appointments without any communication may not be eligible for future bookings.
Additionally, we reserve the right to charge all or a portion of the scheduled service for missed appointments or late cancellations. Charges will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
This policy is not about penalties—it is about respect. Respect for our time, our staff, our business, and for the clients who are waiting for appointment availability.
We are committed to providing exceptional service. We ask for the same courtesy and consideration in return.
