I’m excited to share that I will be hosting an event for Lt. Governor Juliana Stratton and U.S. Senate candidate Juliana Stratton.

Leadership matters, especially during times when healthcare, education, equity, and opportunity are at the forefront of our communities. Juliana has been a strong advocate for women, healthcare, nursing, education and working families.

Come join us for an afternoon of conversation, connection, and community engagement and meet our Lt.Governor.

Please event details on flyer and RSVP information.

People often ask me why I chose to serve as a Trustee and public official. The answer is simple. It is one of the greatest honors to be a servant to the community and know that you are contributing to a better world by helping people pursue their education, achieve their dreams, and create brighter futures for themselves and their families.

When I look out and see thousands of students striving to change the trajectory of their lives, I am reminded of my own journey. I see hope, resilience, determination, and the future of our communities. Education is one of the most powerful tools we have to break barriers, create opportunity, and uplift generations. I truly believe every person deserves the opportunity to shine their inner light and reach their fullest potential.

There is nothing more meaningful than helping people believe their dreams are possible and building a society where those dreams can become reality.

Building a better world starts one student, one family, and one community at a time.

Honored to present today at the 15th World Congress of Nurse Anaesthetists in Brisbane on “The Role of Emotional Intelligence in Enhancing Clinical Competence in Nurse Anesthesiology and Medical Education”. Representing the USA as a delegate and College of Nursing at Rosalind Franklin University

As healthcare continues to evolve in complexity, technical skill alone is no longer enough. Emotional intelligence strengthens communication, situational awareness, teamwork, stress management, and decision making under pressure, all critical components of safe anesthesia care and clinical excellence.

Proud to represent nurse anesthetists on a global stage and contribute to the conversation on how we better prepare clinicians for the realities of modern healthcare.

Day 1-at the 15th World Congress of Nurse Anaesthetists and already inspired by the incredible energy, innovation, and global collaboration happening here in Brisbane.

What an amazing opportunity to connect with world leaders in anesthesia, share ideas, learn from one another, and continue advancing our profession on a global scale. Proud to be a delegate and represent Rosalind Franklin University in Illinois, the United States, and the CRNA profession alongside so many passionate clinicians, educators, and advocates from around the world.

The future of anesthesia is global, collaborative, and driven by those willing to lead, innovate, and serve. Excited for the days ahead.

Happy National Nurses Week, Illinois! I’m so proud to have the support of Illinois Nurses Association, IANA / Illinois Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and National Nurses United in this race, and I can’t wait to work together to fight for our nurses when I get to Washington!

24 hours in Sydney did not disappoint! From iconic views to walking through history at The Rocks. The Nurses Walk in Sydney celebrates the history of nurses and a legacy of service.

This path isn’t just a laneway, it’s a tribute to the very first nurses who cared for patients in the earliest days of the colony.
These were the footsteps of nurses walking to makeshift hospitals between 1788 and 1816, delivering care in some of the most challenging conditions imaginable.

Established decades later to honor their legacy, this walk is a reminder that nursing has always been rooted in resilience, compassion, and service.

From the very beginning, nurses have been the backbone of healthcare systems across the world.

Grateful to experience it all, even in a day.
