Keeping my nervous system balanced has changed so much for me.

I make better health choices.
I’m more mindful of what I put into my body.
And I’m more mindful of what I listen to, watch, and allow around me.

When your nervous system is balanced, you move differently.

✨ You think clearer
✨ You react less emotionally
✨ You sleep better
✨ You make healthier food choices
✨ Your body feels safer
✨ Stress becomes easier to manage
✨ You stop operating in survival mode
✨ You become more present
✨ Your energy improves
✨ Your body naturally starts seeking healthier habits

Happy Thankful Thursday 🌻

Yup… you already know what time it is. 👟✨

Never forcing.
Just showing up every day and being the best version of myself that I can be.

This journey is important to me.

It cost a lot to get here mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

So if I have to walk 10 times a day to keep my nervous system balanced…
then that’s exactly what I’m going to do.

Because peace matters.
Balance matters.
Healing matters.

And once you fight your way back to yourself…
you protect that version of you differently.

I worked too hard to get here to give it up easily.

So every walk…
every breath…
every reset…
is me choosing myself again and again.

Not forced. 🌻

Woke up at 12:30AM and didn’t want to lay there tossing and turning… so I got up, got dressed, laced up, and headed to the gym.

And honestly?
It felt good.

Walked for an hour.
Cleared my mind.
Centered myself.
Let go of whatever was trying to keep me awake.

This is why I keep saying:

Never force your body to move.

Listen to it.
Work with it.
Honor what it’s asking for.

Sometimes movement isn’t about weight loss…
Sometimes it’s about peace.
Sometimes it’s about releasing stress.
Sometimes it’s simply about returning back to self.

Tonight, my body needed movement… not frustration.

So I listened. 👟✨

4:58AM… It’s time to lace up for our first morning walk. 🌅✨

Fresh, crisp air.
The sound of crickets 🦗 fading as the world slowly wakes up.
The quiet before the noise.

This is the time to level set for the day.
To be one with self before life starts pulling at you.

Maybe it’s a walking meditation. 🧘‍♀️
Maybe it’s deep breathing. 😮‍💨
Maybe it’s simply listening to the sounds around you.

No pressure.
No rushing.
No overstimulation.

Just you…
your breath…
your thoughts…
your peace.

Because doing nothing is necessary too.

You don’t always have to be busy in your mind.
You don’t always have to force movement.
You don’t always have to start the day in survival mode.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do…
is simply breathe.

Reset.
Realign.
Return to self.

Before the busy…
choose you first.

Breathe. Walk. Listen.
