Today we celebrated First Friday with some fútbol fun! Teams tested their skills in a dribbling competition, cast their predictions for the next champion and showed their team spirit by decorating their workspaces with flags, colors and themed displays. Yesterday, we hosted Show-Me Careers KC, which brought together middle and high school educators, counselors and administrators from school districts across the region as part of the Missouri Chamber’s professional development program.

Participants had the opportunity to explore healthcare career pathways firsthand, gain insight into today’s healthcare industry and learn about the many careers available within our field. Attendees also completed the Stop the Bleed® course, gaining critical lifesaving skills they can bring back to their schools and communities.

Pardon our dust — and thank you for your patience.

Starting in June, NKC Health will begin implementing new weapons detection systems at all public entrances as part of our ongoing commitment to safety. During this transition, visitors may notice updated signage, screening processes and entrance modifications throughout our hospital campus.

These updates will continue to evolve over the coming months, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance the experience and safety of everyone who walks through our doors.
