The Importance of Hair in Our Energetic and Spiritual Connection

From an energetic and spiritual perspective, hair has a deep significance beyond aesthetics. Hair can act as a radar connected to our nervous system, perceiving energies and dangers in our environment. This deep connection allows us to tune into the vibrations and energies around us, functioning as an antenna that connects us to the divine.

My Personal Experience

I have always felt this deep connection with hair and have shared this understanding with my clients in the salon. I explain the importance of keeping hair healthy and strong to maintain these divine connections. It’s surprising how many people are unaware that we are perfect supermachines. Often, my clients are amazed to hear this.

Hair and Energetic Duality

Hair represents an energetic duality, acting as a bridge between the physical and the spiritual. Traditionally, long hair is associated with the feminine and receptive, while short hair is linked to the masculine and active. This duality facilitates a deep connection with the environment and higher energies, acting as an extension of the nervous system and a channel for energy.

Social Control Through Haircutting

In authoritarian contexts, haircutting has been used as a tool to impose social control. Some reasons include:

1. Reduction of Sensitivity and Perception:
• Studies have shown that cutting hair can reduce the ability to perceive subtle energies and environmental dangers. For example, Native American trackers during the Vietnam War lost their abilities when their hair was cut, suggesting that long hair contributes to greater intuition and extrasensory perception .
2. Uniformity and Conformity:
• Imposing a uniform hairstyle eliminates individual differences, promoting a collective identity and reducing dissent. This makes it easier to manage and control the population.
3. Symbolism of Submission:
• Haircutting is often used as a symbol of obedience in military and penitentiary institutions. Depriving individuals of their hair reduces their autonomy and reinforces the authority of the state or institution.

The Importance of Healthy Hair

In my salon, I always try to discuss with my clients the importance of having healthy hair. Hair is a radar that helps us connect with the divine and sense the environment. For example, when there is negative energy, the hairs on our body stand on end as a warning signal. This reaction shows how hair and body hair respond to different types of energy, helping us navigate and understand our surroundings.

🌟 Celebrating Over 30 Years of Hairdressing Excellence 🌟

Dear clients,

Today, I want to share my deepest gratitude for your trust and loyalty over these past 30 years in the hair industry. From my humble beginnings in Mexico, cutting and coloring hair in a small room with a mirror, to becoming the hairstylist I am today, your support has been essential.

From a very young age, I felt a great attraction to cutting hair. I remember the first time I cut my sister’s hair at just six years old; although it wasn’t perfect, it was the start of my passion. At ten years old, I did my first perm on my mom at home, as it was common in the ‘80s to do these treatments at home. That’s how I started, learning by observing and practicing with my family.

In Mexico, I had two very humble beauty salons. They were more like small rooms with a mirror, but it was there that I developed my passion and experience in hairstyling, cutting, and coloring hair for my neighbors and friends.

At 19, I moved to the United States with big dreams. Although I initially worked in a restaurant, I soon found my true path in hairstyling. My first client in this country was my sister’s neighbor. Later, I moved in with my cousin Griselda, who allowed me to use her living room to serve wonderful clients like María and Chayo.

My journey in California, from 1996 to 2015, was incredibly enriching. In Hollywood, I worked and had my own business for seven years, attending to models, artists, and many wonderful people who trusted my hands and my passion for colorimetry. Later, I worked in Glendale, further honing my craft. In 2015, I moved to Las Vegas, where I have had the pleasure of serving a loyal and wonderful clientele for the past eight or nine years.

Each of you has been a key part of my journey. Your smiles, your stories, and your trust have allowed me to do what I love every day. It has been an honor to have you with me all these years. I deeply appreciate your loyalty, generosity, and open hearts.

I look forward to continuing to serve you with the same love and dedication for many more years.
