To us, it means taking the time to truly know you. It means listening without rushing, celebrating the exciting moments, and walking alongside you through the uncertain ones.
Pregnancy and birth are more than appointments on a calendar; they're the beginning of a new chapter for your family, and we believe the care you receive should reflect that.

Over the past several years, New Birth Midwifery has had the incredible privilege of serving families in both the Southern Metro and Southern Minnesota communities. What began as one practice with a Chaska birth center and a Mankato clinic space has grown into two thriving birth center communities, each with its own unique needs. 
As we've grown, we've recognized an exciting opportunity: by allowing each location to operate independently, both birth centers will be better positioned to serve the communities they call home. 
We're excited to share that the North Mankato location will become SolHaven Birth Center, while the Chaska location will continue as New Birth Wellness Center. 
This transition allows each practice to focus more deeply on the needs of its local families while continuing the relationship-centered, evidence-based care that has always been at the heart of our work. 
For families in the western metro area, New Birth Midwifery will continue growing and serving the Chaska community under the leadership of Jenny Hall.
For families in the southern Minnesota community, SolHaven Birth Center will carry forward that same tradition of care under the guidance of Sarah Barbosa. 
While practice names and leadership may change, our gratitude remains the same. We are proud of what we've built together, grateful for the families who have trusted us with their care, and excited for what lies ahead for both practices.
