โข Our eyelashes along with eyelids is the first line of defense from foreign objects. Eyelashes help to minimize the flow of the air, that can bring the debris from outside to the eyeball. Thanks to lashes, no irritating dust can be deposited on the eye surface. In simple words, eyelashes are dust collectors.
โข The amount of natural lashes can range a lot from person to person - 80 to 250 eyelashes per eye. Thatโs a big range. Thatโs why, with the main goal to cover a100 percent, the timing of application can be quite different. Average, that you are going to see is 120-140 eyelashes per eye and they grow in several layers - 2-3 and sometimes more.
โข The lifespan of natural lashes is approximately 100-150 days, can be longer or shorter. Younger clients tend to have much faster growing and cycling lashes, as well as they have better skin regeneration, nails growth, healing happens faster, etc. Mature clients, on the opposite, have all this processes slowed down.
โข Average thickness of natural lashes - 0.07-0.08 mm. For comparison, the thickness of extensions that we work with are ranging from 0.03 to 0.15 mm. Natural lashes that are more than 0.10 consider thick. Less than 0.07 consider thin.
โข Average length - 10 mm. For comparison - lengths that we work with is 6 to 15 mm long. When we work, we donโt want the extensions to exceed natural lash more than 3 mm.
