Today, we proudly joined the City of North Miami and JUNETEENTH FESTIVAL in celebrating Juneteenth a day that commemorates freedom, honors the resilience of Black communities, and recognizes the ongoing pursuit of equity and justice.

This year, we celebrated the strength, resilience, and joy of our LGBTQ+ community at Miami Beach Pride 2026! From the parade route to the everyday moments that bring us together, Pride reminds us that everyone deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated.

At Akeso, we are proud to provide affirming, compassionate care through our LGBTQ+ Primary Care services, HIV specialty care, PrEP & PEP programs, case management, patient assistance programs, and other supportive resources designed to help our community thrive.

National Women’s and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day focuses on addressing the challenges women and girls face in accessing HIV/AIDS treatment and eliminating barriers to health care access for women and girls with HIV/AIDS.

Women are less likely to be screened for partly due to the perception that they aren’t at risk.
🩺Protect yourself with tools like education, routine testing and preventive tools such as PrEP.
