Those of you close to me know this year has been a struggle. I’ve gone through a challenging but very positive shift in my career, and after a long health battle, I lost my sweet Trigger. For the past 12 years, he has been with me through the best of times and the toughest of times. Losing him was earth-shattering, and some days I could barely breathe, let alone find the words to express how I felt. From that, this piece was born. I call it “Grief.” 🖤

I’m slowly starting to feel like myself again and feeling the need to create. Life’s still a balancing act (if anyone figures out how to fit more than 24 hours in a day, let me know), but art has always been so important to me its nice to feel joy in it again.

Not exactly sure what the future holds but I have wanted to say thank you all for your patience and kindness while I have been in my darkness, it means more than you know.

More to come I hope....

Keeping this dog alive has been an absolute fight, but he's SO worth it. I started this portrait before Trigger got sick, and over the past two months, it was almost a memorial at least three times. Thankfully, he's doing really well for the time being. (knock on wood)

I am not naive enough to believe I get to keep him forever, or any of my loved ones for that matter. This has been a sobering reminder that life is fleeting & time is our most precious resource, and I plan to prioritize accordingly.

Some of you may have noticed I have been a bit quiet on here recently. This guy has been one of the reasons and will continue to be for a little while longer. If you have open projects, reach out when you are ready, and I will make sure you are taken care of.

Art and tattooing have always been my passion, and thank you all for supporting my dreams. I still plan to post projects and designs I have been working on, and I hope to be back soon.

Thank you to my amazing clients and followers for a fantastic 2024!! So grateful to you all who have chosen me as your artist and follow me for my art.

I have had a lot of changes, challenges & opportunities over the last few months, and am currently on a bit of a sabbatical. 2025 will be filled with reprioritization and refocusing on what makes me truly happy. I will be taking on projects that align with this goal, and can't wait to see what comes next!
