When Lance first came to Active Health, he was dealing with persistent back pain, tingling in his legs and feet, and discomfort that would flare up after yard work or exercise.

The first step wasn't simply treating the symptoms—it was understanding what was contributing to them. From there, we developed a structured plan focused on improving movement, building strength, and helping his body function more efficiently.

Today, the tingling is gone. The sharp pain is gone. While he still experiences some soreness after a busy day, it no longer stops him from doing the things he enjoys.

Recovery isn't about perfection. It's about making meaningful progress, getting back to the activities that matter most, and having a plan to keep moving forward.

Thank you, Lance, for trusting us with your care. We're grateful to be part of your journey.

The first visit isn't about rushing into treatment.

It's about listening.

Understanding your history.

Learning what you've already tried.

Finding out what you want to get back to doing.

Every treatment plan starts with a conversation because no two patients have the same story.

Because understanding the person always comes before building the plan.

We've all done it.

One symptom turns into five open tabs.

One search becomes an hour of reading.

And somehow you leave with even more questions than you started with.

The internet can point you in a direction.

But it doesn't know your history.

It doesn't know how you move.

It doesn't know what's worked, what hasn't, or what you're trying to get back to.

That's why two people with the exact same diagnosis can need completely different treatment plans.

Google is a great place to start learning.

It just shouldn't be the place where your health journey ends.

👇 Be honest... what's the last health question you Googled?

People are often surprised to learn that Dr. Weinberg didn't develop this approach from a textbook alone.

After experiencing his own injury, he saw firsthand how understanding the underlying cause, not just the symptoms, changed the course of his recovery.

That experience continues to shape the way he evaluates patients today: taking the time to understand why a problem developed before deciding how to treat it.

Sometimes the most valuable perspective comes from someone who's been through it themselves.

💬 Have you ever had an injury completely change the way you looked at your health?

For months, every morning started with pain.

Not the kind you can stretch away. The kind that made getting out of bed and walking to the bathroom feel like a challenge.

After getting the right imaging, we discovered the real cause of his sciatica.

Instead of chasing symptoms, we built a treatment plan around the problem itself.

Just a few weeks later, mornings looked very different.

Every recovery is unique, but it starts with understanding why you're hurting.

If pain has been keeping you from living the life you want, don't settle for temporary relief. Find the cause.

MRIs are an incredible tool.

But they don't tell the whole story.

We've seen people with "terrible" MRIs who are living active, pain-free lives.

We've also seen people with "normal" MRIs who can barely get through the day.

Your imaging is one piece of the puzzle. Your movement, strength, stability, history, and goals matter just as much.

he best care plan isn't built around one image. It's built around a thorough understanding of how your body functions, what you're experiencing, and what you're trying to get back to.

💬 Have you ever been surprised by MRI or X-ray results?

You'd never skip leg day forever.

You strengthen your shoulders.
Your back.
Your core.

But when was the last time you thought about strengthening your neck?

Neck pain doesn't always happen because something is "out of place." Sometimes it's because the muscles supporting your neck aren't doing their job.

Research continues to show that strengthening those muscles can be an important part of reducing pain and improving long-term function. Strength is one of the key elements we measure and build through our S.M.A.R.T.E.R. framework because your neck isn't just designed to move, it needs to support your head every day.

If you're only stretching or chasing temporary relief, you may be missing an important piece of the puzzle.

Have you ever done exercises specifically to strengthen your neck?

You know that feeling when you've been putting something off... and then wonder why you waited so long?

Taking the first step is often the hardest part.

Whether you're dealing with neck pain, back pain, sciatica, headaches, or something that just doesn't feel right, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Come in for a conversation and a comprehensive evaluation.

Sometimes the best decision is simply deciding to start.

The pain isn't lying. It's just not telling the whole story. Ever notice how the pain seems to change locations?

First your lower back.

Then your hip.

Now your shoulder starts bothering you.

It can feel like your body is falling apart.

Sometimes, it's actually your body doing everything it can to keep you moving.

Pain is often the last chapter of the story, not the first.

That's why we don't stop at where it hurts. We want to understand when it started, how it changed, and why your body adapted the way it did.

💬 Have you ever fixed one pain only to have another one show up?

Long-term health usually comes down to one thing most people overlook:
stability.

When the body has proper support, movement tends to feel a whole lot easier.
