Today, we’re grateful for the opportunity to meet with the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) and share more about Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) and the experiences of the patients and families living with it.
A special thank you to Admiral Brian Christine for taking time to hear about TSW and for the compassion, curiosity, and genuine willingness to learn that he brought to the conversation. He listened thoughtfully to the patient perspective, engaged with the complexity of the issue, and demonstrated an openness to understanding what the TSW community has been experiencing.
We’re especially encouraged by his openness to reengage and continue learning more about TSW. For a community that has spent years advocating to be heard, that willingness means a great deal.
We’re grateful for the conversation and the opportunity to keep building bridges toward greater awareness, research, recognition, and support for those affected by TSW.
