Life has been living the last couple of weeks, so I haven’t been posting much, but here’s a few of the fun little things I’ve done over the last couple of weeks.

I think my favorite is the plesiosaur aka Nessie! She turned out soo cool with the blue!!

I just started Kira last night as practice for graywash!

Ps. I have some big life things happening, so I will not be booking anything past mid October until things are all figured out.

Weeknights are pretty open but weekends are currently pretttty booked

My favorite clients are clients who are so excited to see me and sit in my chair!!! We had a great afternoon doing this snapdragon and talking and giggling. Really made for a good evening!

What an amazing weekend of tattooing!! I am definitely bouncing back from my momentary confidence slip, and I’m coming back kickin!!!

Thanks to all of my clients this weekend (and always)!

I got to do a fun vibe (not pictured because we were having too much fun and I forgot), a memorial piece, a father/daughter tattoo set, and another Founding Flesh floral piece.

This felt so good, and I think moving forward if I book a large piece on a Sunday it’ll be the only tattoo that day, especially if I tattooed all day Saturday. It made it so much easier to relax into my art.

Omg so much this!!! 2 weekends in a row we have had guys show up at our shop for their “appointment” with “Levi”…. These kids are being taken advantage of. PLEASE SHARE THIS FAR AND WIDE!

Onyx Studio in North Pekin only has female artists.

Please do your homework before sending anyone a deposit, or even better go to the shop and meet the artist and deposit in person.

This breaks my heart every time.

I got myself a little rattled on Sunday… and I’m not afraid to admit it. I lost a bit of confidence after a less than stellar session, but my lovely friend Kyndall is helping me work through that little crown slip and let me put this Marigold on her arm today! This is one of my Dis De Los Mu***os pieces from last fall…3 months into my apprenticeship. Doing this piece let me breathe a bit. It let me slow down and figure out what was going wrong. It’s amazing what an hour with one of your favorite people can do for your confidence!

As we go into Marigold festival season, I’d love to do a few more of the marigolds from this set!

Thank you SO MUCH for today Pekin!!! I had so much fun meeting new clients and butting art on your bodies today! Thank you for challenging me and letting me stretch myself! It felt so good to be constantly busy! I can’t wait to do the next one of these because I ABSOLUTELY will be offering more flash events 💕💕

It’s been such a good day today! I’ve stayed busy and even had to have someone wait a bit lol! I’m still here for a bit longer so if you’d still like to get in, there’s still time!! Today has been so fun!!! We should do this again soon! 😉

The first one of the day is in the books! I’ve always loved the SJ pig and chicken. When I first got into tattoo history I knew I needed a pig and a chicken on my feet… I got a flying pig but did you know that sailors would get a pig on one foot and a chicken on the other because those are the two crates that would float if the ship sank? And it could help you survive if you got marooned.

I’m here til at-least 6 tonight, so come get a piece of American Traditional Sailor Jerry Flash!! 🙂
