We’ve seen so many patients get overlooked or dismissed and told that all their symptoms were normal and there was nothing they could do and just to live with it forever
When we go back and listen in to a lot of patient histories we hear a similar pattern: no history of headaches or migraine until a concussion, trip, fall, car accident or something like that
But they had no idea it was connected because it has been so long and now it has just become a normal part of their life
Many people don’t realize that these kinds of accidents can have a big impact and can even cause symptoms years down the line
When this happens usually some kind of injury or dysfunction happen to the top of the neck called the craniocervical junction
This area is the most freely movable in the spine which makes it most susceptible to injury and also protects vital neurological structures and blood vessels
When this part of the neck does not work properly it can contribute to things like migraine, headache, dizziness, brain fog and so much more
If this sounds like you, you need to have someone evaluate this part of the neck
If you need help and this sounds like you comment the word “CCJ” and we’ll send a DM on how to evaluate this area
