I have to give a HUGE shoutout to my hair girl Cheyenne today 🥹🤎

She has been there for me for the past 3 years through extensions, scalp massages, cuts, colors, tinsel, braided-in hair… basically all the things 😂✨
And today I got to be her first customer in her very own salon here in North Vernon.

Seeing her open those doors after watching how hard she has worked to grow her skills, build her clientele, and keep expanding what she offers honestly brought me SO much joy.

There is just something really special about watching a woman bet on herself and build something that’s hers.

I LOVE seeing women succeed. I love watching them grow into the things they once only talked about doing. And I love being able to support the women around me while they’re doing it. 🤎

Cheyenne, I’m so proud of you and so excited to see what you build from here. 🥹✨

If you’re local and have been looking for a hair girl, definitely go show her some love

Something I’ve heard more than once after someone’s first Reiki session is…

“I didn’t really feel anything. Did I do something wrong?”

And the answer is always NO. 🤎

You don’t have to feel tingling, see colors, cry, fall asleep, or have some huge spiritual experience for Reiki to be meaningful.

Every person experiences it differently.

Some people feel warmth moving through their body.

Some feel deeply relaxed or notice their busy mind finally become quiet.

Some experience emotions coming up.

Others don’t notice much during the actual session—but later realize they feel lighter, calmer, clearer, or less reactive than they normally would.

And sometimes the experience is simply having an hour where nobody is asking anything from you. 😂🤎

There is no “right” way to receive Reiki, and you cannot do it wrong.

You stay fully clothed, there is no massage involved, and you don’t have to know anything about energy work beforehand.

You simply get to show up exactly as you are, slow down, receive, and allow yourself to notice whatever unfolds without forcing it.

I offer Reiki sessions in North Vernon and Seymour, along with remote sessions for those who aren’t nearby. ✨

Have you ever experienced Reiki before—or have you wondered what you’re actually supposed to feel?

The amount of joy this little rig has brought me is ridiculous 😂🤎

This bike had been sitting since I was pregnant with Mal over 4 years ago, and getting the bearings + brakes fixed up and finally getting this trailer attached so I can pull the kiddos around has felt like such a tiny life highlight. 😂

I literally told Ron, who snapped this picture of me, “This whole experience is going with me to the grave 😆”

Because it is!

I get exercise.
I get sunlight + fresh air.
The kids get outside.
We get time together.
We explore.
We laugh.

And it’s one of those things that just makes life feel really simple and really good. 🥹🤎

It’s funny how sometimes God puts these random little nudges in your mind to do something that seems so basic… and then it ends up bringing way more joy than you expected.

We’ve already put enough miles on this thing that my b***y is VERY aware of it though 😂 so apparently my next spiritual assignment is finding myself a more comfortable bike seat.

What’s one simple thing lately that has brought you way more joy than you expected? ✨

I talk to SO many women who want the same things

More energy.
Less bloating.
Sustainable weight loss.
Better hormones.
Better sleep.
To feel like themselves again

And most already know a TON.

They know protein matters. They know stress affects the body. They know sleep matters. They know eating balanced meals helps. They know some of the herbs, supplements, fasting strategies, blood sugar stuff… all of it.

Knowledge usually isn’t the biggest problem.

The problem is what happens when life gets LIFEY. 😂

Work gets busy. The kids need everything. Stress goes up. Energy drops. Fast food becomes easier. Routines fall apart. And suddenly it turns into

“I fell off.”
“I’ll start again Monday.”
“I know what I need to do… I just can’t stay consistent.”

THAT is such a huge reason I created Limitless.

Because knowing what to do and actually being able to do it consistently in your real life are two completely different things. And today a past client reached back out.

We had previously worked together and she lost 25 pounds, felt dramatically more energetic, and experienced far less bloating.

Life got busy.
Some weight crept back on over a few years

And she knew exactly what she needed

accountability.

Not because she’s incapable. Not because she suddenly forgot everything she learned.

But because sometimes we need somebody beside us helping us notice WHY we’re slipping back into old patterns… so eventually we can become accountable to OURSELVES.

That part matters to me SO much

Because the real cost of feeling like crap isn’t just the number on the scale.

It’s the life you don’t have the energy to participate in.
It’s saying no to something fun because you’re exhausted. It’s sitting on the sidelines with your kids. It’s waking up already tired. It’s spending so much mental energy thinking about food, your body, and “starting over” that there’s less of YOU available for everything else.

I was riding bike with my kids recently and thought about this.

Would I have enjoyed that moment the same way if I were exhausted, sleeping terribly, constantly feeling deprived, and convinced I just didn’t have enough willpower?

HECK NOOO. 😂

And that’s the part I don’t think women don't always realize.

Sometimes you don’t even know how much of your LIFE you’ve been missing until you start feeling good enough to participate in it again.

That’s why this work has never just been about weight loss for me.

It’s about having enough energy, confidence, consistency, and trust in yourself to actually enjoy the little things you worked so hard to have. 🤎

What’s something you wish you had more energy to enjoy right now?

It’s been harder than I want to admit that baby Ariel is already ONE and officially a toddler. 🥹❤️

And today, exactly a year later, my sister and mom are coming back down to visit again, which just feels really special.

I’m beyond grateful for the women in my lineage.
They’re not complainers. They’re doers. They love life, make things happen, and I honestly can’t remember a time either of them made me feel silly for having a huge dream, a wild idea, or an ambitious goal. 😂🌌

They’ve always been the kind of women who made me feel like, “Okay… go for it.”

And I think that’s one of the reasons support means so much to me now.

For the last 6 years, so much of my work has been working next to women to reach goals that matter deeply to them health, confidence, energy, healing, business, becoming more of who they know they’re capable of being.

And one thing I’ve learned over and over again is this
The people around you matter.
It is so much easier to grow when you’re surrounded by people who don’t make you shrink your dreams to make them comfortable.

I’m really grateful I grew up around women who taught me that. 🤎

Who is one woman in your life who has always made you feel like your big dreams were possible?

2 years later and I still believe this even more now 😂🤎

One of the biggest things I see women doing when they want to lose weight is immediately eating LESS.

Less carbs. Less snacks. Less dinner. Less everything.

And then they’re wondering why they’re exhausted, thinking about food all day, overeating at night, or falling off again by the weekend.

Sometimes the problem isn’t that you’re eating too much.
Sometimes you’re under-fueling your body so badly that consistency becomes almost impossible.

Sustainable fat loss doesn’t come from seeing how little you can survive on.
It comes from learning how to eat enough protein, build balanced meals, support your energy, and create habits you can actually repeat in real life with kids, work, stress, spouses, birthdays, weekends, all of it. 😂

That’s a HUGE part of what I help women work through now.

Not another strict diet. Not another “start over Monday.”

Actually learning how to eat in a way that supports the body you want AND the life you’re living. 🤎

When you’ve tried to lose weight in the past, do you tend to eat way too little or feel like you’re constantly starting over?

Reiki: what actually happens when you come in for a session?

I’ve realized that a LOT of women are curious about Reiki… but also have absolutely no idea what they’re signing up for. 😂

So if you’ve ever thought, “Okay Valerie, but what actually IS Reiki?” this is for you.
Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing practice centered around relaxation, presence and energetic balance.

And no — it is not massage.

You stay completely clothed, get comfortable on the table, and I work either with gentle touch or completely hands-off depending on what feels best to you.

There’s nothing you have to believe. Nothing you have to “do right.” You don't have to be spiritual. And you definitely don't have to know anything about chakras before you walk in. 😂

Some people notice warmth or tingling. Some feel incredibly heavy and relaxed. Some get emotional. Some see colors or have intuitive thoughts come up. And some simply feel like they finally got to shut their brain off for an hour. 🤎

Every session is different.

One of my favorite things about Reiki is that it gives you permission to receive for a little while instead of constantly doing, fixing, accomplishing and taking care of everybody else.

My sessions usually begin with a quick conversation about what’s been going on and what you’d like support around. Then you settle onto the table and we let the session unfold from there.

Reiki isn't a replacement for medical or mental-health care, and I don't use it to diagnose or treat medical conditions. I see it as a complementary wellness practice that can create space for relaxation, reflection and reconnecting with yourself.
And depending on the session, I may also incorporate intuitive/chakra insight and energetic balancing into our time together. ✨
I currently see Reiki clients in North Vernon and Seymour, and I also offer distance sessions.

So...
If you’ve never experienced Reiki before, what is the ONE thing you've always wondered about it? 🤎

I was asked such a beautiful question during a Reiki session

“How do you actually, truly FEEL love?”

And one of the first things that came to me was…

Through the way you consistently care for yourself. 🤎

We tend to think self-love is bubble baths, affirmations and being gentle with ourselves.
And sometimes it absolutely is.

But sometimes self-love looks like...
Eating the meal your body needs instead of accidentally surviving on coffee 😂
Drinking the water.
Moving your body.
Going outside and feeling the sun on your face.
Going to bed instead of scrolling another hour.
Meditating.
Journaling.
Setting the boundary.
Keeping the promise you made to yourself.
Sometimes the voice of self-love in me is incredibly compassionate...
“You’re tired. Rest. You don't have to earn it.”
And sometimes it says...
“Girlfriend… we know staying stuck here isn't making you feel better. Get up. Let's do the next right thing.” 😂

Both can be love.

That’s something I understand so differently now.

Self-love isn’t always comfort.
But it also isn’t constantly pushing, punishing or trying to “fix” yourself.

It’s learning yourself well enough to recognize

Do I need grace right now… or do I need to lovingly hold myself accountable?

That answer can change from one day to the next.

Some seasons require discipline. Some require rest. Most require a little bit of both. 🤎

And that is where so much healing happens when you stop abandoning yourself in either direction.

What does loving yourself look like for you lately 1. more discipline 2. more compassion 3. little bit of both?

Feel it to heal it. 🤎

I used to think healing meant getting over things quickly.

Being positive.
Staying busy.
Pushing through.
Not letting things “get to me.”

But a lot of the deepest healing I’ve experienced has actually come from doing the opposite.

Letting myself feel disappointed.
Letting myself grieve.
Letting myself admit when something hurt.
Letting myself recognize when I was angry, overwhelmed, scared, or just plain tired.

Not living there forever.

Just being honest enough to actually move through it instead of constantly pushing it down.

Sometimes healing looks like Reiki, meditation, journaling or breathwork.
And sometimes it looks like crying in the shower, setting a boundary, getting more sleep, asking for help, or finally admitting, “Yeah… this is actually hard right now.”

You don’t have to bypass what you feel to become stronger.

Sometimes feeling it is exactly what helps you move forward. 🤎

What emotion have you gotten better at allowing yourself to actually feel instead of immediately trying to fix it?

10/06/2026

I got asked such a good question during a remote Reiki session today
“Do you think relationships can help open the sacral chakra?”

My answer was… yes, but. 😂🤎
I think healthy relationships can absolutely support the energy we associate with the sacral chakra — connection, pleasure, creativity, emotion, intimacy, and feeling safe enough to actually experience life.

But I don’t think another person is supposed to become responsible for creating all of that for us.
A huge part of healthy connection still starts with the relationship you have with yourself.

Sometimes that looks very spiritual.

And sometimes it looks like:
drinking the water
eating enough protein
getting some sleep
setting the boundary
saying no without writing a 4-paragraph explanation 😂
asking yourself, “What part of this is actually mine?”

I used to spend a lot more time focused on what everybody else needed to change.

If they would just do this…
If they understood me better…
If they would act differently, then I could feel okay.
And healing has taught me to bring a lot of that attention back home.

What do I need?
What am I tolerating?
Where am I abandoning myself?
What actually feels nourishing, safe, creative, playful, or alive to me?

To me, that’s a huge piece of sacral work. 🤎
Healthy relationships can absolutely add to our lives — but they shouldn’t require us to disappear from our own.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected from yourself lately and you’re curious about Reiki, message me and we can talk about what kind of session might feel supportive for you. ✨

And totally unrelated but important 😂 thank you Cheyenne Sánchez for making my hair look marvelous. 🤎

What’s one thing that helps you feel most connected to yourself again?
